THE Kalambaka is built at the foot of Meteoron and is on its left side Pinios river at the point where it enters the Thessalian plain. Internationally known because of the famous monasteries on top of the cliffs of Meteora, floating in the air. The Meteora it is one of the largest monuments in the world, protected by Unesco, and the most important monastic center of Greece (after the Mount Athos). The first ascetics came here in the 11th century. 1 dayATHENA - PLASTIRA LAKE - KALABAKA

We're leaving 08.05 pm from Omonia with a stop on the way for a coffee at the height of Lamia. Then we take the road to Plastira Lake, where it got its name from the great Politician Nikolaos Plastiras. Plastiras was the initiator of the construction of the dam 1920-1930 at an altitude of 850m. and has an area of ​​approx 25.000 acres. There we will have free time at our disposal to enjoy our lunch at Lamperou beach. Later we continue to Kalambaka where we will settle in the hotel rest and have dinner. In the evening you can visit the nice shops of the city on your own. Overnight.

2 dayMETEOR - METSOVO

After breakfast we leave to climb the rocks of Meteora. Meteora is a cluster of dark sandstone cliffs rising outside Kalambaka in Thessaly, near the first heights of Pindos and Hasia. The monasteries of Meteora, which are built on the tops of the rocks, it is today the second most important monastic complex in Greece, after Mount Athos. We will visit the monastery of Ag. Stefanou which was founded by Antonio Kantakouzenos, the son of the Despot of Epirus Nikephoros II in 1400 A.D. . The monastery apart from the chapel of Agios Stefanos, it also has that of Agios Charalambos, in which his cart is also kept, which is believed to cure diseases. There we will have time at our disposal for a pilgrimage. Then we will depart for the picturesque Metsovo which is a mountain town of Pindos, built on the ruins of the ancient city of Tymfi. 3 dayPINDO RESORT - GATE - ELATI

After breakfast we depart for the magical Resorts of Pindos. Following a wonderful route we end up at the gate where we will make a stop at the single-arched bridge of Agios Bessarion to capture the moment with a photo. For those who wish, they can visit the Byzantine church of the 12th century Porta Panagia. Then passing through the Gate we will reach Elati. Elati is a beautiful mountain village built amphitheatrically in a forest of fir trees. There we will have time for lunch. Then we take the return road with an intermediate stop at the height of Lamia and then we end up in our Athens.
