**Corfu... where tradition meets the magic of the Ionian Sea!**
This autumn we invite you to a special three-day trip to the mansion of Corfu, an island full of history, surrender, music and unique images.
From the Venetian cantons of the Old Town and the famous Spianada to the Cannon, the Vlachernon Monastery and the enchanting Pontikonissi, we will get to know some of the most beautiful corners of Archontissa of Ionia.
A special moment of our trip will be the "New Week" of Agios Spyridon. We will experience up close one of the most important religious customs of Corfu, watching the litany of the Holy Tabernacle of St, with the island's famous philharmonics creating a unique and immersive atmosphere.
At the same time, we will enjoy beautiful walks, coastal routes and moments of relaxation in Benitses, in Ypsos and in the city of Corfu.
Three days full of history, surrender, music and wonderful images in one of the most beautiful islands of Greece.

We depart at 06:00 in the morning from Omonia with destination Corfu. Our first stop will be in the area of Kiatos for coffee and rest.
Next, we are heading towards Igoumenitsa, where we will have free time for our lunch.
Then, we board the ship bound for Arhontissa of the Ionian Sea, the beautiful Corfu.
Upon our arrival on the island, we leave for Benitses, one of the best known seaside villages of Corfu, about 12 kilometers south of the city. Built between the mountain and the sea, the Benitses combine the traditional atmosphere with the tourist development and the natural beauty of the area.
Arrival and check-in at Potamaki Beach Hotel 3*. We will have free time for rest and dinner.
At night, for those who wish, we will make an optional transfer to the city of Corfu. We will visit Spianada and enjoy the unique atmosphere of the illuminated old town.
We recommend an evening stroll through the famous cantons, with the characteristic Venetian architecture, the quaint shops and lively atmosphere.
Late in the evening we return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Potamaki Beach Hotel enjoys a beachfront location in the village of Benitses, in Corfu. The hotel reception is available 24 hours a day. The building has 5 floors with 170 simply decorated rooms, most with sea view. All rooms are equipped with satellite TV and a refrigerator. Guests can enjoy the freshwater swimming pool and in the same area a large terrace equipped with umbrellas, sunbeds and showers. A children's pool is also available.
📷 See the photos →After our breakfast, we depart for the city of Corfu and the central Spianada square, where we will experience "New Year" up close, one of the most important religious customs of the island.
We will attend the Litany of the Holy Tabernacle of Saint Spyridon, which is accompanied by the famous philharmonics of Corfu, creating a unique and overwhelming atmosphere.
The custom of "Protokyriakos" has its roots in the 17th century. According to tradition, the 1673 Saint Spyridon saved Corfu from a plague epidemic. In memory of the event, the litany of the Holy Tabernacle was established on the first Sunday of November, where the name "Spring" comes from.
After the events are over, we will stay in town for sightseeing. We will get to know the historic Old Town, we will see the Old and New Forts and, for those who wish, there is the possibility of an optional visit to the Palace of Saints Michael and George (individual expenses).
Next, we will have free time in the famous Liston and the picturesque cantonments of the city for a walk, shopping and lunch at a restaurant of your choice (individual expenses).
In the afternoon, following a beautiful route through Dassia, we will visit Ypsos, one of the best known seaside resorts of Corfu. There we will have free time for a walk and afternoon coffee.
Next, we return to our hotel.
Dinner and overnight stay.
After our breakfast, we leave for Kanoni, one of the most famous and photographed spots of Corfu.
From there we will enjoy the wonderful view towards Pontikonissi and the Holy Monastery of Vlachernon, one of the most characteristic landscapes of the island. The Monastery is located on a small island, which is connected to the mainland by a narrow jetty.
Opposite is the green Pontikonissi, with the picturesque church of Pantokrator, creating one of the most characteristic images of Corfu.
We will have free time for sightseeing, photos and coffee, enjoying for the last time the special beauty of the island.
Next, we depart for the port of Corfu and board the ship bound for Igoumenitsa.
After we disembarked, we take the way back to Athens, making an intermediate stop for lunch and rest.
Arrival in Athens in the evening, full of beautiful images and memories of the Princess of Ionia.
