We are leaving for the Kaimaktsalan Loutra Pozar Three-Day Excursion 08.00 from Omonia, for the height of Lamia where we will make our first stop for a coffee. Then we continue to the height of Korinos where we will have our lunch. Then we take the road to Loutra Pozar and the foothills of Mount Kaimaktsalan, which are located next to the banks of the hot spring. Check in at our hotel and then we depart for the Impressive Pozar Baths with a constant temperature of 37°C. The springs cross the mountain creating an impressive image for the visitor. The Baths are famous for their beneficial properties and their curative healing waters. There we will have time to bathe and relax. Then we will return to our hotel for dinner and overnight
After our breakfast we leave for Old Agios Athanasios which is a traditional settlement of Mount Kaimaktsalan, at the top of Piperitsa, next to Lake Vegoritida at an altitude 1.200 meters. The preserved settlement of Agios Athanasios was built at the end of the 16th century and was inhabited until the end of the 1980. The traditional Macedonian architecture of Agios Athanasios is based on hewn stone and wood. The stone houses of the settlement with the wonderful tiled roofs are the reason why Agios Athanasios is also called Stone Village. There we will stay for our lunch and in the afternoon we will take the road to the baths having at our disposal time to bathe and relax. Finally return to our hotel for dinner with musical accompaniment and overnight stay
After morning departure for Edessa to visit the park of rapid waterfalls fed by the waters of Agra and located on the edge of a cliff in a unique geopark sculpted by water also known as the 'eyebrow of the city', coffee stop. From here we will take the road back to Athens with an intermediate stop for lunch and coffee.
