Early departure from Athens for Piraeus. Boarding the ship 09.00 pm with destination to the enchanting Serifos! Arrival 13.35 on the island and we will have free time for swimming and lunch (individual expenses) in Livadi. Arrangement in the rooms and rest. In the afternoon we will depart for Chora tis Serifos! We will visit the Castle0, where it is located in Chora tis Serifos at the highest point , a fortified settlement created by the Venetians in 1430. The small church of St. Constantine will require you to climb several steps – but the view is breathtaking as if we arrive early we will enjoy the sunset! We will have free time for a walk , coffee or for a drink! Return to the hotel. Overnight.
After breakfast we leave for the White Tower, it is a special monument of Serifos, the most ancient tower! It has an awesome panoramic view that shows us that it functioned as an observation post to protect the mines of the area. Right next to it is the small church and it is dedicated to St. Charalambos . Then we will visit Megalo Livadi for coffee and a walk! The landscape is enchanting as on the left side are the ruins of facilities , running rails, trolley and the loading ladder , they are reminiscent of the mining activity of the past. We continue to the Old Laundry located near Chora and we will walk a path 100 meters there we will see a nice building with arches and 4 troughs where the housewives of the island used to wash clothes. Then we will visit at 750 meters of Mylos which is characteristic of the Cyclades! We continue to the most famous beach of Serifos, the "Psili Ammos" has been awarded the 2003 as the most beautiful beach in Europe! We will have free time for swimming and lunch (individual expenses). Return to the hotel. Overnight.
After our breakfast we leave for Chora tis Serifos in Pano Piatsa which is the most central and busiest point of Ano Chora. In the central and paved square is the neoclassical building of the Town Hall from 1908 and the imposing church of Ag. Athanasios which is the metropolis of Serifos. We will have free time for coffee and dessert! We continue to the port where we will have our last ride. Boarding the ship 03.50 pm for Piraeus. Arrival 08.25pm in the evening with the best impressions!
