The Musée Picasso is housed in the magnificent 17th-century Hôtel Salé. It is the largest Picasso collection anywhere, representing almost all the major periods of the artist's life from 1905 and after. The result is a sense of the artist's evolution and an image of the face behind the legend. The museum also contains a significant number of engravings, ceramics and sculptures by Picasso. Additional, the collection includes paintings bought or donated by Picasso's contemporaries, such as Matisse and Cézanne. his African masks and sculptures. the Communist Party membership cards and sketches of Stalin. and photographs of him in his studio taken by Brassaï.
The Louvre is one of the largest museums in the world. In the heart of Paris, along the right bank of the Seine, this palace is a must see sight, both architecturally and artistically. It exposes approx 300.000 projects, including the Venus de Milo, Leonardo da Vinci's Winged Victory and Mona Lisa. The huge collection was first presented on 1789 during the French Revolution. The classic 16th century palace has undergone many changes over the centuries. The last addition was made at the end of the decade 1980, when François Mitterrand added a futuristic steel and glass pyramid in the middle of his courtyard. The pyramid allows sunlight to enter the underground floor.
The Champs Elysees is probably the most famous avenue in the world. This impressive pedestrian street stretches from Place de la Concorde to Place Charles de Gaulle, the location of the Arc de Triomphe. At its western end it is bordered by cinemas, theaters, cafes and luxury shops. Near the Place de la Concorde are the Jardins des Champs-Elysées, beautifully landscaped gardens with fountains and large buildings, such as the Grand and Petit Palais on the south side and the Elysées on its north side. The latter has been the residence of French Presidents since 1873. The Champs Elysées is where Parisians celebrate New Year's Eve and historical events such as the 14th of July.

Meeting at the airport and a short flight to cosmopolitan Paris. Arrival in the city of light and our transition to the historic center. Following the chronological and artistic evolution of Paris we will start the panoramic tour, a journey through time with stops in the Middle Ages, the Renaissance, the "Sun King", the Revolution with the deviations of Robespierre and Napoleon, the imperial Paris, the Belle Epoque years, of the interwar period and May of '68, where we will see the Trocadero, the Eiffel Tower, the largest arch in the world, the Arc de Triomphe, the famous Avenue of the Champs-Élysées, the Small and the Great Palace, Omonia Square and the Luxor Obelisk, the church of Agia Magdalene, the busy Boulevards, the impressive building of the Opera House, the famous pyramids of the Louvre, the French Academy, the square of Satlet, the Courthouse, the new Pont Neuf bridge, the city hall, the Virgin Mary of Paris, the famous Sorbonne University, the Pantheon, the beautiful and Frenchly refined gardens of Luxembourg, the church of Agios Sulpikios, the artistic neighborhoods around Saint-Germain-des-Prés with their famous cafés, the School of Fine Arts, the old railway station which today has been transformed into the Orsay Museum and finally the famous War Museum, where Napoleon is buried, known as the palace of Apomachi. Then transfer to the hotel, arrangement in the rooms and free time at your disposal. Overnight.
Breakfast at the hotel. Today we will walk through the most elegant area of Paris, Saint-Germain-des-Prés with luxury shops and restaurants and the oldest church in Paris. This neighborhood was and is a magnet for artists, writers and painters. There are the most emblematic cafes such as Cafe de Flor, Café de Maggot where Simone de Beauvoir frequented. From the wonderful narrow streets of Saint Andre de Arts we will find ourselves in the heart of the Latin Quarter and the fountain of Saint Michael where we will have the opportunity to enjoy our coffee in the neighborhoods that for centuries have housed the intellectual world of France. Afterwards, we will pass to the islet of La , to meet at the unique Panagia tou Parisia and to end up at the Megaro (Town hall) of the City. In the afternoon, free time for shopping and walking around the beautiful city. Return to the hotel. Overnight.
Breakfast at the hotel. Free day. We, we recommend an optional excursion to Normandy. Departure for a full-day excursion to wonderful Normandy. Our first stop is the old Viking fishing village, ηHonfleur, a historical area amphitheatrically built around the harbor, point of departure of all the great ocean liners of France. Free time for shopping, food and coffee. Then boarding the coach and after driving the beautiful country road, Cote Fleurie, through a green path , we will first meet Trouville, favorite city of the impressionists and we will arrive at the fairytale Deauville, known as the "Monaco of the North", old aristocratic and cosmopolitan resort with buildings of exceptional aesthetics. Stroll through the picturesque streets of the city and visit its covered market where one can find local products. Finally, we recommend a photo at the city's famous beach where many French and international films have been shot. Return to Paris. Overnight.
Breakfast and your day is dedicated to the wonderful Kingdom of DISNEY , one of the most popular amusement parks. It is a huge theme park with a variety of activities. It consists of several amusement parks, playgrounds and tracks while huge buildings are erected, plucked from Walt Disney's fairy tales. It is owned by the Walt Disney Company and first operated in 17 July 1955. Visit the Sleeping Beauty Tower, travel to the land of Peter Pan and Pinocchio, experience the adventure in the Wild West, to Lightning Mountain and walk in the footsteps of Indiana Jones. Late afternoon return to Paris. Overnight.
Breakfast and today we say goodbye to the city of light. Free day to use as and where you wish. At noon transfer to Paris airport for our return flight. *For the participants of the 5-day, the walking round of the 5th day of the listed 6-day program, takes place on the 2nd day of the trip.
