We're leaving 5:50 in the morning from the Constitution and 6:00 from Omonia to the port of Lavrio.
Subsequently, we are heading towards the beautiful Dryopida. During our tour we will visit the Byzantine Museum, which is housed in the church of Agios Georgios, The Folklore Museum, as well as the impressive Katafiki Cave.
Afterward, we depart for Panagia Kanala, built on one of the few pine-covered beaches of the island.
Subsequently, tour of the Kythnos Country, with the intense Cycladic color and the authentic island atmosphere. Small squares, picturesque cobbled streets, traditional restaurants, white houses with colored doors and windmills make up a unique residential complex.
Stay for lunch (individual expenses).
In the afternoon return to Mericha, where there will be free time until boarding the ship for Lavrio.
Arrival in Lavrio and return to Athens at the boarding points.
DAY TRIP TO KYTHNOS
An authentic Cycladic experience full of images, tradition and sea
Kythnos, one of the most genuine and unpretentious islands of the Western Cyclades, invites you to a unique day trip full of natural beauty, culture and authentic island atmosphere.
The departure takes place early in the morning to the port of Lavrio and boarding the ship. After approx 1 time and 50 travel minutes, arrival at the port of Mericha, the main port of the island.
Our first stop is the graphic Dryopida, a village of unique architecture with narrow streets, labyrinthine alleys and strong traditional character. There we will visit it Byzantine Museum, which is housed in the church of Agios Georgios, the Folklore Museum, as well as the impressive Cave Refuge, one of the most important natural attractions of the island.
Subsequently, we are heading towards it Panagia Kanala, built on one of the few pine-covered coasts of Kythnos, with special religious and historical significance.
Here's a tour of the graphic Country of Kythnos, with the white houses, the colorful porticoes, the cobbled alleys and small squares that exude authentic Cycladic charm.
Stay for lunch (individual expenses) and free time for sightseeing and relaxation.
In the afternoon, return to Merichas and board the ferry to Lavrio. Arrival and return to Athens with the best impressions from the excursion.
