The lovely teal Lake Tsivlou is located near Akrata Eighty meters above sea level and is considered very important for the local ecology and culture. Curiously, the lake was formed the 1913 after falls and blockage of the river States.
The lake has a surface area of two hundred acres and a depth of eighty meters. Around and near the lake there are villages Dove, Saint Barbara and Slingshot. The name of the lake comes from the village Tsivlos, which was partially submerged after the landslide. Local tradition also calls it Black lake for the harm he caused. The area is suitable for free camping and hiking

In case of seat cancellation, your deposit is fully refunded until 13 days before the departure of the trip.

All participants of our tours will be informed telephone or will receive in writing sms with detailed information of the departure of their package 1 day before the excursion.
We're leaving 05.50 in the morning by Constitution and 06.00 from Omonia with an intermediate stop and time for coffee. Then through the road to Akrata we climb towards the unique Lake Tsivlou. There we will stay to enjoy the magnificent location that combines the wet element with the green surroundings of the mountains and is at the same time one of the most important wetlands. Then we take the road to the picturesque Zarouchla, There we will have time for lunch or coffee (at your own expense) and tour of the beautiful village with running water and the forest of fir and chestnut trees on the slopes of Aroania at an altitude 1037 m. For those who wish, they can also visit the "Nymphes" estate to spend a wonderful experience in nature. In addition, we recommend an optional pig ride through beautiful routes that last (20 with 30 minutes),riding through streams and forests (15 with 20 minutes), and finally for the more daring archery.
After you have all completed the activities, that you wish with (individual expenses) you will depart for the center of the village where we will have free time for lunch. Then we return to our Athens with an intermediate stop for coffee.
