We depart for the Arachova Cold Springs One-Day Excursion from Omonia 8.00 in the morning. Then we make an intermediate stop for coffee and breakfast at the height of Orchomenos. Then we make our way to the picturesque Arachova where we will have free time for coffee and lunch. Its traditional architecture as well as its narrow alleys create a wild beauty in combination with the mountainous slopes of Parnassos. On its steep rock you will see the tower with the clock while a little further on stands the church of the Entry of the Virgin and the old primary school, which was built with the donation of Andreas Syngrou and has now been turned into a folklore museum. In the southern part of the town you will find the historic church of Agios Ioannis with the unique Byzantine frescoes and a little further the chapel of Evangelistria with the historic rock that houses the Arachovite flag which was the first of the rebellious Roumeli. Then we will board the coach for the picturesque Krya Livadia. Watermills, small waterfalls, stone bridges and huge century-old plane trees compose a landscape of exquisite beauty in the unique Krya Springs. You can walk along the cobbled street or sit on one of the stone bridges and enjoy your coffee . Finally, after a full day, we will depart for Athens with a stopover for coffee.

An excursion to Arachova and cold springs gives us a winter escape in nature combined with the picturesqueness of the mountain villages . Arachova is a mountain village nestled picturesquely at the foot of Parnassus in Boeotia. Considered the most cosmopolitan autumn and winter destination in Greece. Arachova is a pole for one-day and two-day excursions especially for ski lovers. The dreamy mountain scenery with modern tourist facilities and picturesque cobbled streets leaves no one unmoved. Its modern ski resort, its close distance from Athens and the enchanting mountain landscape is the strongest reason to visit it. In addition to mountain activities, Arachova is also famous for its intense nightlife and as the favorite mountain resort of the Athenians.
The Cold Springs are located in the southern part of Livadia. The river that flows in this particular place is one of two in Greece with a feminine name. This is the Herkyna river, which took its name from the homonymous nymph, the other river with a feminine name is the Neda located between Ilia and Messinia.
