We are leaving for the Vytina Dimitsana Excursion 8:00 in the morning from Omonia. We make a short stop for coffee in Spathovuni and continue to Dimitsana. Dimitsana is a traditional settlement with unique mansion houses, such as that of Old Patras Germanos and the tower of Xenio with a height of eighteen meters. In Dimitsana we will make an optional visit to the Outdoor Museum of Hydrokinesis, which consists of dense vegetation and abundant running water. In the museums, we understand the importance that hydropower provided to the traditional society of Greece. In addition, inside it we find restored pre-industrial and installations with water-driven mechanisms, such as water friction, the flour mill and the tannery. After our tour and a coffee for anyone who wants it. we will go to the mountain village of Vytina. In Vytina we will have time for a short tour and lunch. Finally we return to our Athens with an intermediate stop.
