🪨 We will discover the impressive Diros Cave, we will tour the picturesque and historical Areopolis and arrive at the beautiful Gythio, where we will experience up close the moving ceremony of the Consecration of the Waters and the celebration of the Epiphany. 💦🕊️
🎄 Next, we will travel to Tripoli and its fairytale Christmas village, with bright lights, decorated tree, wooden houses and festive atmosphere! ✨🎅

We depart at 07:30 in the morning from Omonia, with a coffee stop on the way, for the two-day excursion "Theophany in Gytheio - Areopolis - Diros Cave". Our first destination is the famous Diros Caves, one of the most impressive natural attractions of the Peloponnese. An optional visit follows (with individual expenses). There we will experience a unique journey to the wonder of nature: white stalactites and stalagmites decorate every part of the cave, creating a mesmerizing sight that takes your breath away. Full of images and impressions, we continue to the imposing Areopolis, the "eagle's nest" of Mavromichalaia. There we will tour the preserved historical center, we will admire the 17th of March Square and the Temple of the Grand Commanders and enjoy local delicacies or our coffee in the traditional narrow streets, where time seems to have stopped, leaving indelible traces of another era. Departure for Gythio, check in at the hotel and free time to explore Gythio, admiring the neoclassical buildings and the natural landscape reminiscent of a Cycladic island. Overnight.
After our breakfast, we depart to visit the Holy Metropolitan Church of Agios Georgios, where we will attend the Divine Liturgy. After the Divine Liturgy, a procession is formed, accompanied by the Philharmonic, which is directed towards the waterfront, on the pier opposite the central square of the city, where the ceremony of the Consecration of the Waters will take place.
The Great Sanctification, superior of the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Mani, Mr. Chrysostomou, takes place at about 11:00 a.m. Next, we will have free time to enjoy your lunch in one of the local taverns (with individual expenses). Around 14:30 we leave for Tripoli, to visit the Fairytale Christmas Village. The Fairytale Christmas Village of Tripoli is set up every year in the iconic Areos Square and is one of the largest and most popular Christmas parks in the entire Peloponnese. Wooden Houses & Houses: They host local producers, associations and creators with handmade ornaments, traditional sweets, such as chocolate chimney, gifts and local products of Arcadia. The House of Santa Claus: Children can write their wishes in the big book, to be photographed and participate in free creative workshops. Light Tunnel & Tree: An impressive tunnel of Christmas lights leads to the beautiful, big Christmas tree of the square. Free time for coffee. End, we will take the road back to Athens, with the best impressions.
