The cosmopolitan hometown of Charles de Gaulle awaits us with its cobbled narrow streets, the outdoor markets and the baroque buildings. We will admire the Palais des Beaux Arts, a museum full of artistic treasures on the leafy Place de la République. We will see the old stock exchange of the city (The Old Stock Exchange), ideally located in a central part of the city, consisting of a rectangular complex of arcades with an elegant marble inner courtyard. In the old town we will tour the central square Charles de Gaulle, with bistros and small shops. Departure for Amiens, where we will take a short walk to admire the unique beauty of the city. We will pass by Jules Verne's 19th century house, we will be impressed by the 13th century Amiens Cathedral, one of the largest temples ever built, with length 145 meters.
