We are leaving for the Excursion to Mytilini 16.00 at noon from Omonia to the port of Piraeus. After our arrival, we board the ferry to Mytilini. We spend the night on the ship in Aviation type seats and at 5:30 in the morning we land on the island.
After our arrival on the island of Mytilini, we board the coach and make our way to the picturesque Agiaso on Mount Olympus. We are undoubtedly talking about the center of folk woodcarving and pottery, as well as embroidery art. In the central square we find the miraculous church of Panagia and the ecclesiastical museum. Then we leave for the famous Plomari which is known for its unique ouzo and is the town of the island. It is also known for its commercial shops and its tourist center. There we will have free time at our disposal to take a walk, a swim or to have lunch (with individual expenses). In the afternoon we will depart for our hotel to settle in and relax, Overnight.
We start after our morning meal for the tour of the island of Mytilene. We are heading towards the northern part of the island, the eastern beaches, Thermi and we reach the holy monastery of Agioi Raphael, Nikolaou and Irene. There we will have time at our disposal to worship at the monastery of the miraculous Saints. Then we head to Mandamados , where the holy monastery of Agios Taxiarchis is located, in order to admire his relief image up close, made of unknown material. We continue to the picturesque Molyvos which is famous for its castle and its picturesque beauty. After our arrival in Molyvos we will have free time for swimming and lunch ( with individual expenses). After our meal and passing through the Petra area, we can see the impressive church of Panagia which is built on a huge rock, there we will have free time for coffee or whoever wishes to go up to the church for a pilgrimage. Then we return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
After breakfast we depart for the western part of the island. The museum of the same name is located in the area of Sigri, which you rank among the rarest, because it provides information about the natural monuments of the world. It has unique geological histories for the Aegean basin and the latter 20 million years at the site of the petrified forest. Your visit there is optional. Then we will depart for the beautiful village called Eresos and crossing it we will end up at the Stairs of Eresos where we will have lunch (with individual expenses), bath and free time. Then we take the road to Kalloni, which is famous for its sardine, there we stop for coffee. Then we return to our hotel unit for Overnight.
We depart after breakfast for Varia of Mytilene, where the house where the well-known popular painter Theofilos was born is located. There we see famous works of the famous painter and opposite the modern art museum of Teriade Stratis Eleftheriadis. Optional visit and then the day will be free for everyone to roam wherever they wish in the city and the market for souvenir shopping and sightseeing(with individual expenses). In the afternoon we will board the ship 19.00 and we will take the way back to the port of Piraeus in Aviation type seats.
After our arrival at the port of Piraeus early in the morning we board the coach to return to the center of Athens.
