We leave for the Excursion to Meteora October 28th 07.30 in the morning from Omonia. We make a coffee stop at the height of Agios Konstantinos and continue to the city of Trikala. Trikala is a model city for Greece and home of the ancient physician, Asclepius. In Trikala we will have free time to explore the local area and enjoy our lunch in the town with (Individual Expenses). The picturesque river Litheos which is a tributary of Pinios and according to mythology was the son of Lethe, crosses Trikala giving a magical note. There are many bridges that connect the two banks of the river with the most beautiful one built in 1886 in France. We also suggest you browse the Old Grocery Stores, the second district of the old town of Trikala. Then we depart for Mouzaki Palace 4****. At the hotel we will have time to arrange the rooms and rest. For anyone who wishes to suggest a visit to the inner heated pool or the use of sauna, and the gym, Free for excursion customers. After our breakfast we will depart for the magical Meteora. Meteora is a priceless landscape created by Nature. The view of the rocks is awe-inspiring , combined with human achievements on the craggy peaks. In Meteora we will visit the female monastery of Agios Stefanos. We continue for the Mushroom Museum in Kalambaka. These two museums are hosted in a thousand holly miserable area of approximately. In the Zoological department we find over three hundred species of birds and mammals, while in that of the Mushrooms about two hundred and fifty. The collections are unique since they come from the most famous embalmers in Europe. The exhibits are handcrafted by the best sculptors in the area. ( Entrance to the museum is optional and the costs are individually ). After browsing the museum we will stay in the center of Kalambaka with time for browsing and lunch with (individual expenses). Finally we return to our hotel unit early in the afternoon, with free time to enjoy his inner amenities like. the sauna and the inner heated pool. Finally follow dinner and overnight
After breakfast we depart for the magical Resorts of Pindos. Following a wonderful route we end up at the gate where we will make a stop at the single-arched bridge of Agios Bessarion to capture the moment with a photo. Then passing through the Gate we will reach Elati. Elati is a beautiful mountain village built amphitheatrically in a forest of fir trees. There we will have time for browsing and lunch. Finally we depart for our Athens with intermediate attitude and the best memories of our journey to Meteora.
