We leave for the Excursion to the Pozar Thermal Baths 07.00 in the morning by consensus. Our first stop for coffee will be at the height of Lamia. Then we take the road to the height of Korinos where we will have our lunch with (Individual Expenses). Then we depart for the Pozar thermal baths located at the foot of Mount Kaimaktsalan next to the banks of the hot spring. This is followed by arrival at our Hotel unit and arrangement of the rooms and rest. In the evening we are waiting for you for the celebratory dinner accompanied by live music and overnight stay
After our breakfast we leave for Old Agios Athanasios which is a traditional settlement of Mount Kaimaktsalan, at the top of Piperitsa, next to Lake Vegoritida at an altitude 1.200 measure. The preserved settlement of Agios Athanasios was built at the end of the 16th century and was inhabited until the end of the 1980. The traditional Macedonian architecture of Agios Athanasios is based on hewn stone and wood. The stone houses of the settlement with the wonderful tiled roofs are the reason why Agios Athanasios is also called Stone Village. There we will stay for our lunch and in the afternoon we will take the road to the Pozar baths having time for swimming and relaxing. Then we return to our hotel for dinner and overnight
After our morning meal we depart for Naoussa. It is known as the heroic city of Central Macedonia, built at the foot of Mount Vermio. In Naoussa we find the green park of Ag. Nikolaou. It is an earthly paradise of the region with centuries-old plane trees and the sources of the Arapitsa river. In the Grove of Agios Nikolaos there is also the church of the homonymous saint after which the local area took its name! Here we can tour the park with its picturesque streams and fountains, as well as the artificial lake, which is a favorite spot for visitors. Several ducks live in the lake ,while trout also live under its waters. Next to all that, meanwhile, wooden bridges have been built and paved paths and routes have been organized, the hills are suitable for walks and hikes. Here we will have our lunch and then make our way to Edessa to visit the park of rapid waterfalls fed by the waters of Agra and located on the edge of the cliff in a unique geopark sculpted by water also known as the 'eyebrow of the city'. We stop for coffee and photos and finally return to our hotel for dinner and overnight
After breakfast we leave for Paramythochora in Loutra Pozar, a magical Christmas world that creates a unique festive atmosphere for young and old alike. In an impressively decorated setting, full of lights, Christmas trees, music and festive surprises, we will have free time to explore, to take pictures and enjoy the magic of Christmas. Paramythochora is a special Christmas destination for the whole family, offering activities and beautiful moments in a fairytale environment.
We leave Loutra Pozar behind us and take the road back to Athens, with an intermediate stop for lunch and coffee.
A wonderful four days full of relaxation, nature, beautiful tours and Christmas magic is complete, leaving us the best memories!
