We are leaving for the Sivota Ioannina Paxos Excursion 5 Days 08:00 in the morning from Omonia, with destination to the city of Ioannina and an intermediate stop for coffee. We will visit Bizani(optionally) the Vrellis Museum with the wax figures. Pavlos Vrellis worked for many years under adverse conditions to build this museum, where at 150 his wax effigies depict the historical struggles of the Greeks through figures that marked the place. The museum exhibits figures from the pre-revolution as well as the revolution. It also has references to Byzantium, Ancient Greece, the battle of Crete and many more tributes that will captivate you. All faces (as well as hands and feet) are made of pure beeswax while the hair, they are mostly made of synthetic hair. Immediately after we will end up in the city of Ioannina where we will have free time for a walk and food. Then departure to the hotel to settle in our rooms,dinner and overnight stay
After breakfast we depart for Parga known as the jewel of the Ionian. Boarding the ship for Paxos and Antipaxos. Our Cruise starts on 10.00 in the morning. After an hour and twenty minutes we arrive at Antipaxos. We stop at the beach, where you have the opportunity to swim in a stunning natural bay with turquoise waters that are unique in the Mediterranean. Our journey continues passing through Kamara and Ortholithos to the western side of the island which is inaccessible by land. Only from the sea you can admire the incredible shapes and colors of the vertical rocks, of caves and rocky islands. Here for about half an hour we have the opportunity to swim in the Blue Caves. Then we return to the eastern part of the island which is also the capital Gaios. In Gaios we will have the opportunity to explore the area for two and a half hours. The strong characteristics of the Ionian and the charming architecture of the area fascinates every visitor. Then board the coach and return to our hotel unit for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast we depart for Sivota, also known as the Riviera of Epirus. Sivota is a small paradise. Their beaches are exotic with turquoise waters creating the illusion of the Maldives and the fjord. Sivota is the jewel of Epirus with a seaside village where the green meets the blue of the Ionian Sea. Here we will have free time for swimming and lunch(individual expenses). In addition, you can go for walks and shopping for your loved ones with a view of the endless blue. Then we make our way back for Dinner at our hotel. In the evening we recommend an optional excursion to the city of Ioannina.
We depart after our breakfast for Monodendri. After our arrival there, we will visit the Byzantine Monastery of Ag. Friday, where one can admire a part of the spectacular gorge of Vikos and Voidomatis. Free time for pilgrimage, coffee or food while enjoying the village pies of Zagori. Then we depart for Ioannina with an optional visit to Lake Pamvotida, also known as the island of Kyra Frosyn. The boats start from Molo and the route on the lake lasts only a short time 10 minutes. A picturesque and beautiful settlement is built on the islet of Kyra Frosini, with traditional houses and taverns serving eel dishes, frog legs and trout. Several shops have excellent folk art products, while in the beautiful square of the settlement we find cafes with delicious Ioannitian sweets waiting for the lucky one to try them. End Return dinner and overnight stay.
Departure after our breakfast for Nafpaktos. A large part of the city of Nafpaktos is built amphitheatrically on the slopes of a green and pine-covered hill dominated by its impressive castle. Admire the beautiful Venetian harbor and Nafpaktos beach where we will have free time for lunch and swimming. Then we take the road back to our Athens with an intermediate stop for coffee.
