Excursion Volos Chania Portaria October 28th

We are leaving for the Three-Day Excursion Volos Chania Portaria 08:00 in the morning from Omonia. We make a stop for coffee at the height of Lamia and then crossing the shores of the Maliak Gulf we arrive at the beautiful city of Volos. . Volos combines the magic of the mountain with the charm of the sea. here we will have free time at our disposal to tour the town with its traditional buildings and quaint shops. The City Center exudes the aroma of Culture and hospitality . Our Suggestion after arriving and touring is to have lunch with (individual expenses) in one of the picturesque taverns known as ΄΄tsipouradika''. A unique experience with traditional dishes that you should not miss . Then we climb to Chania and our hotel unit Tasia Hotel 3* for arrangement and rest in the rooms. Finally, dinner and overnight stay.

After our breakfast, we leave for one of the most beautiful villages of Pelion, Tsagarada. After our Arrival there, we will get to know its picturesque alleys ,its stone-built houses but also the horse chestnut trees with the picturesque fences. We continue our tour to the central square where we will visit the church of Agia Paraskevi, with the huge plane tree (of age 1000 years ). We will usually have time to enjoy the traditional Pelion pies or some other (optional meal) . Then we head for the last destination of the day, the largest village of Pelion, with the name Zagoras. A beautiful and historic village spread out on a verdant hillside with a wonderful view of the Aegean. It is known for its rich history as a trading center with a remarkable fleet, ( the so-called "Zagorian ships" ) and its rich tradition in letters and the arts. To (Zagora) We will stay in the central square of Agios Georgios, but also time to walk and tour the local churches and mansions. The historic Library is a trademark , which hosts more than 20.000 titles and above 1.000 old prints, but also the school where Rigas Feraios studied for a few years . In the village we will stay for a tour and lunch in traditional taverns with (individual expenses) and don't forget to stock up on the famous Zagora apples!. Finally, after a wonderful day in the picturesque villages of Pelion, we descend to our hotel for dinner and overnight.
