We are leaving for the Excursion to Preveza and Lefkada 08:00 in the morning from Omonia. Our first coffee stop will be at the height of Kiato. We continue to Rio- Antirrio and through a beautiful route we end up in the city of Preveza. The city lies in the shadow of three castles and wets its feet in two seas. The historic center has an atmospheric waterfront ideal for sunset walks. One of the most popular sights of the old town, is the Venetian Clock Tower, with his sundial dating from 1752. Then we depart for Lefkada and the Nikiana area to check in at our hotel, the most luxurious Ionian Blue Hotel & Spa 5* which welcomes us and predisposes us to enjoy its unlimited comforts. In the evening we will enjoy our buffet dinner, followed by a masquerade party in the hotel's main bar with intense entertainment.
After our breakfast, we will depart for the Panagia Faneromeni who is the patron and protector of the island. The Monastery is located on the sacred rock of Kyra, as they call the Most Holy Theotokos. There we will have time for a pilgrimage and then we return to the city of Lefkada. In the city we will watch the big carnival parade, organized by the municipality and culminates in the main square with a dance, spree, appetizers and wine. The best Carnival we will ever see and live is waiting for us to go crazy. Free time to enjoy the carnival events, to dine and have fun in the crowd of carnival-goers as long as everyone can bear it. In the afternoon we depart for our hotel. Along with our evening buffet dinner follows a Halloween party with revelry, live music and dancing until late.
After breakfast we leave for another beach resort, Nydri. On the peninsula of Agia Kyriaki on the right, they create a wonderful island complex. There we will have free time and (Optional mini cruise with individual expenses) for anyone who wants it. Board the ship and depart for a cluster of many green islets. Madhuri, Sparta, Heloni and Skorpidi with the neoclassical architecture of Aristotle Valaoritis are just a few of the many beautiful places we will come across. Scorpio and the private island of Aristotle Onassis impress her. In the picturesque coastal Nydri we will stay for our lunch and the tasting of the famous traditional kouloumas. Then we take the road back to our Athens with a stopover for coffee and the best impressions .
