Last day today in the capital of Portugal. Full of memories we fly back to Greece.
Our today's tour is dedicated to the picturesque and welcoming city, which retains its glorious Latin character to this day. One of the city's most famous attractions is the Royal Carriage Museum, where we will admire a unique collection of luxury and wealth dating between the 17th and 19th centuries. Our next stop is the Hieronymites monastery, the most impressive symbol of Portuguese power and wealth. Then we will visit the monument of the Discoveries as well as the characteristic Belem Tower, where it was built 1515 Close to the Tagus river to protect the estuary and has been described by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site where the Portuguese seafarers began for the ends of the Earth. In the afternoon, wander the narrow cobbled streets of the medieval district of Alfama as the Castle of St. George to enjoy a panoramic view of Lisbon. In the evening we suggest you enjoy the traditional Portuguese fado songs, which were made known all over the world by the famous singer Amalia Rodrigues.
