The Hauptstrasse, the backbone of Heidelberg, it is the longest pedestrian street in Europe, maybe even in the world, with length 1,6 kilometers. It passes through the central square (with the magnificent building of the Town Hall and the famous, Gothic church of the Holy Spirit), his Ritter Hotel 1592 (one of the best examples of Renaissance architecture) and dozens of wonderful shops, from pubs and cafes to patisseries, antique shops and shops with original souvenirs. Free time and then transfer and check-in at our hotel in Strasbourg. Overnight.
Breakfast at the hotel and panoramic tour of the capital of the European Parliament built on the west bank of the Rhine and crossed by the river Ile. We will be transferred to the historic center of the city where the imposing Cathedral dominates with height 142 m. which is one of them 6 highest in the world, with the Astronomical Clock inside. We will wander through the picturesque narrow area known as "little France" with its wooden houses, countless bridges and flower-filled balconies. Overnight.
Breakfast at the hotel. Today the day is dedicated to the beautiful villages of Alsace such as Ribeauville, Riquewihr and Eguisheim and of course Colmar the jewel of Alsace located on the wine route and famous for its wines. We will tour its historic center characterized by traditional houses built on the banks of the River Lough. We will see the City Hall, the Cathedral dedicated to Saint Martin as well as small beautiful squares with interesting outdoor markets. Free time in the most beautiful part of the old town, the Little Venice characterized by canals, ornate bridges, classy cafes and restaurants. Don't forget to take a photo with the Pfister House built around 1537 and is a sample of German Renaissance architecture. Late afternoon return to our hotel in Strasbourg. Overnight.
Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast we depart by road for Germany and the region of the famous Black Forest. Our first stop will be in the greenest city in Europe, Freiburg, the most beloved city of Nikos Kazantzakis. After being guided around and getting to know the beautiful German city, we depart for the edges of the Black Forest and Lake Titisee, crossing the "Black Forest" and the "Clock Road" (numerous cuckoo clock workshops). Return to Strasbourg. Overnight.

According to the current European directives, the old-style Greek identities (blue) are accepted for travel within the European Union and Schengen countries until the beginning of August 2026.
However, to avoid problems during air or border control, special attention to the following is recommended:
IDs issued by 2011 and after, as long as it is in good condition and the information is clearly written, are usually accepted up to 03/08/2026.
IDs issued before 2011 — and especially before the 2006 — it is good that they have already been replaced with a new type of identity card or that they are accompanied by a valid passport, as they may not be accepted by airlines or border authorities.
Worn out, defaced or illegible IDs may also result in denied boarding or entry, regardless of the date of issue.
