Gathering at the airport El. Venizelos and flight to Milan. Arrival, boarding the coach and departure for one of the most famous resorts of the French Alps, Chamonix, which is nestled in a beautiful valley and looks like a fairytale. With a cosmopolitan air, this French town is located at an altitude 1.035 meters on the slopes of Lefkos Oros (Mont Blanc), the highest mountain in Europe (4.807 measure). The narrow streets with the chalets, the beautiful wooden buildings, the boutiques, the picturesque cafes and traditional restaurants give visitors moments of relaxation and absolute tranquility. Breakfast at our hotel and then we will depart for the European Organization for Nuclear Sciences Cern, where we will follow the latest developments in particle physics. We will then tour Geneva which is built on the shores of Lake Leman. We will start our tour from the European headquarters of the United Nations. Geneva is the seat of numerous International Organizations as it gathers high interest tourism. It is also the birthplace of the International Red Cross. We will meet in front of the Flower Clock, made of infinite flowers, which celebrates the long Swiss watchmaking tradition, before reaching the huge fountain – Jet d'Eau symbol, where the water is thrown three times higher than the Statue of Liberty. Perched higher, on the left bank of the Rhone, the Old Town of Geneva is located, with the Cathedral of St. Peter which took seventy years to complete. Return in the afternoon to our hotel. Overnight
Breakfast at our hotel and we will depart for the picturesque Annecy, "the Venice of the Alps". Impressive canals connect the areas to each other, quaint homes and shops line the length of the lake, while the historical monument Palais de l'Ile that dominates in its center, built in the water, is the trademark of the city. We continue to Loznan, the city that unfolds in two parts. In the old town with Mont Repo Park, Ripon Mansion, the Cathedral and the main train station and in Ousy, over Lake Leman, and the Olympic museum which we will visit. Our next stop is the beautiful city of Northern Italy, Milan. Arrival at our hotel, settling in our rooms and overnight stay.
Breakfast at our hotel and we depart for our city tour. We will see the Sforza castle, which was built in the 15th century, on the ruins of a fortified building, by Francis I Sforza, Duke of Milan, one of the largest fortresses in Europe. Then we will be transferred to Piazza del Duomo, central square of the city that took its name from the homonymous imposing cathedral of Milan and we will pass by the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II (Vittorio Emanuele II Gallery). It was built between 1885-1887 and consists of two arcades in the shape of a Latin cross covered by a glass and iron dome. It took its name from the first king of united Italy. We will go outside to admire the Teatro Alla Scala, known as the Scala of Milan, with the unique acoustics worldwide, capacity 2.500 positions, which took its name from the church that was in the same place, Santa Maria della Scala. Free time in the city and in the afternoon transfer to the airport where our flight to Athens awaits us.
