We depart for the three -day excursion Loutra Pozar 08.00 in the morning by consensus. Our first coffee stop will be at the height of Lamia. Our route continues with the first stop in the city of Thessaloniki. We will have free time there ( Optionally visit the White Tower, to do our shopping in Aristotelous Square and Tsimiski Street, to gaze at Thermaikos while enjoying our coffee and, Why not, to try the famous sweets of the city! After we have lunch, we will head to the enchanting Pozar Baths, which are located at the foot of Mount Voras. Upon our arrival, we will settle in our hotel rooms, Paradosiako Hotel 3*. End, dinner and overnight stay.
After our breakfast, we depart for the famous Loutra Pozar (Baths of Loutraki). The area is built on the banks of Thermopotamos, who crosses it. The medicinals, warm waters, with constant temperature 37°C, have been gushing from the mountains for thousands of years, creating an impressive landscape in the mountain and the forest. Visitors arrive at Loutra from every corner of Greece, in order to enjoy the beneficial properties of thermal waters and therapeutic and relaxing baths. There we will have free time to enjoy our bath. Subsequently, we will have our lunch at a local tavern (individual expenses) and we will return to the hotel for rest. Later, in the afternoon, we will go to the famous Edessa Waterfalls. We will visit the magnificent Waterfall Park, where we will have the opportunity to capture the impressive landscape with souvenir photos. The green location, in the northeastern part of the city, surrounded by tall plane trees and flower beds. The Karanos waterfall is the largest in Greece, with a height of about seventy meters. Its waters fall with a rush, creating a dense, soaked cloud and a unique natural sight. Behind the huge water curtain is a landscaped balcony, from where you can safely enjoy both the imposing sight of the waterfall and the unique view towards the Macedonian plain. End, we return to our hotel where a meal accompanied by live music will follow .
After our morning meal, we depart for the picturesque town of the prefecture of Pieria, Litochoro. Litochoro is located at the foot of Mount Olympus and stands out for its traditional architecture, the Macedonian rhythm and the changes of the rich vegetation that surrounds it. We will have free time to explore the area, but also to have our lunch in one of the local taverns or ouzories. You can enjoy Macedonian cuisine, which is particularly famous for its meat and cheese products. End, we take the way back to Athens, making an intermediate stop for coffee and returning with the best impressions!
