Breakfast at the hotel and departure for Istanbul. Border crossing. Passing through Eastern Thrace, we will reach Raidesto, stop for food. We continue to Istanbul and Optional Bosphorus Cruise with Private Boat, the strait that separates Europe and Asia. Its banks offer a wonderful blend of past and present, the glittering grandeur and simple beauty where modern hotels sit next to old mansions (wooden beach villas), where marble palaces border stone-built fortresses and elegant neighboring small fishing villages. Transfer to the hotel. Dinner. Overnight.
After breakfast visit and guided tour of Istanbul, the crossroads of cultures, the queen of cities, the capital of Byzantium and three successive empires, the only city that is built on two continents. Europe and Asia, the city of the senses, of endless legends, of the flavors of the east, of multiple memories, of its unique heritage and glorious past. Our first visit the legendary Hagia Sophia also known as the Temple of Hagia Sophia or simply, the Great Church, the Palace of the Topkapi Sultans, the blue mosque (Sultan Ahmed), the Byzantine Hippodrome where the Column of Theodosius and the bronze tripod of Delphi are located and the Royal Cistern of Justinian. Lunch at a local restaurant. Afternoon free. Walk to TAXIM Square and Peran, enjoy a dessert at the famous SARAY pastry shop on the pedestrian street of Peran or take a beautiful walk up to the Galata Tower. Overnight.
Breakfast and departure for the Princely Islands, boarding a boat for the 4 diamond islands, First, Antigone, Halki and Prince. In Halki we will visit the famous theological school and in Prince we will admire the old mansions. Free time to take a carriage ride around the island and visit Agios Georgios Koudounas. Lunch at a local restaurant. Back to the City. Tonight we propose entertainment in the center with music, folklore program and belly dance with Hanumaki. Overnight.
Breakfast and departure. Visit and guided tour of Dolma Bakhce Palace which was the residence of the sultans and the administrative center of the Ottoman Empire. Then passing by the Fanari, we will see the Great School of the Genus and we will worship at the Sanctification of Balukli where the tombs of the Ecumenical Patriarchs are located. Then a visit to the Ecumenical Patriarchate based in the area from 1601. Then we will go to the Closed Market (Kapali Jarsi) with the 5.000 shops, free time for shopping. We say goodbye to Vasilefoussa and departure for Greece with intermediate stops. Border crossing. Arrival in Komotini , check in at the hotel. Overnight.
