Nice Carnival and Cote d'Azur excursion

Meet at the airport for the Nice Carnival and Cote d'Azur Tour and fly to cosmopolitan Nice. Arrival, transfer to the hotel and arrangement in the rooms. Immediately afterwards we will transfer to Massena square to watch the parade with the flower floats and the flower war custom since the 16th century(14.30). Rest of the day free for a first acquaintance with the beautiful city of Nice. Overnight.

Breakfast at our hotel. Early in the morning the panoramic tour of Nice begins. We will cross the Promenade des Anglais, the city's famous promenade, with its magnificent Belle Epoque buildings, such as Negresco, the Palais de la Mediterraneane, Masena square, the city library, the Acropolis (the convention center of the city) and we will end up at Simiez Hill, where the history of the city began. Then we will see the Opera, the City Hall, the Courthouse, the Ruska Palace, the Cathedral and we will pass through the aristocratic district of Cimiez, with the magnificent mansions of the 19th century among which the Regina Palace, residence of Queen Victoria of England. We will visit the Franciscan monastery from where we will enjoy the wonderful view. The rest of the day is dedicated to the most spectacular Mediterranean Carnival. We start at noon with the parade of flower floats and the Flower War. In the afternoon we will watch the illuminated carnival parade(20.30). Overnight.

Breakfast at the hotel. Early morning departure for the undisputed "queen" of the Côte d'Azur, Cannes, with the famous Croisette, one of the most famous streets in the world. We will see the wonderful buildings, and the ultra-luxurious hotels, dating from the Belle Epoque era, as well as the Cannes Film Festival Palace. Free time for coffee, ride. Afterwards we will visit one of the most picturesque villages of the region, Saint Paul de Vance, a medieval village surrounded by the walls of Francis the First, refuge of all painters and artists. Return to Nice. In the afternoon we will have the opportunity to watch the closing ceremony of the Carnival. Overnight.

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for the medieval village of Eze to visit the Fragonard perfume factory. Next visit the cosmopolitan Principality of Monaco, which is the most densely-populated state in the world and its inhabitants are called Monegasques. On our panoramic tour we will see the Monegasque palace, official seat of government of the Principality and residence of the Grimaldi royal family since the 13th century, the imposing Cathedral of Our Lady and finally we will visit the Oceanographic Museum which was directed for several years by the famous explorer Jacques Yves Cousteau, and we will have the opportunity to meet more of 4.000 types of fish. Free time in the city center. Departure for Milan. Late afternoon arrival at the hotel, settlement and overnight stay. Overnight
