We depart for the summer excursion 2025 in Syros 6.00 in the morning from Omonia in the direction of the port of Piraeus. Boarding the ferry to Syros and arriving at its picturesque port. The first part we will visit is Azolimnos beach. It is just four kilometers from the capital and we will have time to enjoy its magical beach in combination with a coffee ( Optionally ). The beach is organized and has turquoise waters with local cafes to enjoy traditional dishes of the area, refreshing cocktails and coffee. Then we return to the capital of Syros, Ermoupoli. Following is a settlement at our central hotel Nisaki hotel 3* and relaxation. In the afternoon we will tour the town hall (work by Ernest Schiller), and other famous buildings, The Apollo Municipal Theater and the church of Agios Nikolaos is one of the largest in our country. We continue on to the vapors ( mansion district of the shipowners ), with neoclassical buildings built on the waters of the Aegean. The Vaporia district of Syros is probably the most beautiful of the island, built next to the sea, with magnificent captains' houses literally hanging from the cliffs. There you can relax with a tour of her picturesque alleys by drinking a drink on the wave. You can also have your dinner in one of its picturesque taverns. Finally return and overnight stay.
After breakfast departure for the island's round. Passing alongside the best beaches of Syros, like Vari, of Mega Gialos, of Phoenix and Poseidonia with the beautiful mansions. Return to the hotel and in the afternoon we depart for Ano Syros. Ano Syros is built amphitheatrically on the hill of San George, with the eponymous Catholic Cathedral of Agios Georgios dominating the area. The monuments and neoclassical buildings have a distinct architectural beauty. The Folklore Museum, the buildings of the Metropolis and the catholic monasteries of the Jesuits win her Impressions. Wander through the narrow winding alleys once sung by great troubadours, like Markos Vamvakaris. Also enjoy the view of the whitewashed houses, their small courtyards and their peculiar carved doors with wooden balconies. Finally return to the city with free time for dinner and then overnight.
After our breakfast around 11.00 We will depart from the hotel with our luggage where we will arrange them on Pulan. Then we will have free time for shopping in the city's rich market. Of course, we will not forget to shop for the island's traditional loukoumia and halvado pies. Lunch with individual expense and gathering at the port for boarding the ship against 16:00 p.m. Arrival in Piraeus on 19:30 p.m. and boarding our bus to Athens with the best impressions from the Excursion to Syros.
