1 dayATHENA - THESSALONIKI

We depart for the Halloween Excursion to the Naoussa Carnival from Omonia 08.00 in the morning. We make our first stop at the height of Lamia where we will have time for coffee and breakfast. Then we leave for the height of Larissa where we will make our next stop for lunch. Then we take the road to the city of Thessaloniki to settle in our hotel Grand Hotel 5* and rest. For those who wish, we recommend an optional trip to the Magical City of Thessaloniki. In the evening return to the Hotel for dinner and overnight.

2 dayTEMPLE CARNIVAL - CUSTOMARY GENISARIES AND BOULES

After our morning meal we depart for Naoussa carnival. During the Halloween season, the city of Naoussa is characterized by spontaneity, enthusiasm and hospitable disposition of the people of Naoussa. Their impressive feasts and satirical carnivals win the impression of young and old. In contrast to the spontaneity and disorder that will prevail on Halloween, the custom of "Jenissaries and Boules" is characterized by the disciplined, standardized and excellent aesthetic appearance of the participants. After enjoying the Naoussa carnival, we continue to the green park of Agios Nikolaos, which is an earthly paradise with centuries-old plane trees and the sources of the Arapitsa river. There we will stay at the beautiful location for sightseeing and lunch. Then we return to our hotel for dinner and overnight.

3 dayTYRNAVO CARNIVAL- USUAL BURANI - ATHENA

After our breakfast we leave Thessaloniki and depart for the Tyrnavos Carnival. The traditional custom of Tyrnavos, Burani, is revived in Prophet Ilias, in an authentic way by old and new Buranites. Combine kite flying with a taste of the day's action. The Municipality of Tyrnavos offers all visitors traditional dishes and wine. The Revival of Tyrnavite customs Burani and En Tyrnavo invites you for fun, with tsipouro and good wine. Then we return to our Athens with a stopover for coffee and the best impressions.

Taking a Halloween Trip to Naoussa Carnival and the Tyrnavos Carnival you can enjoy the joy and action of two combined customs with the beauty of the special landscapes. The Janissaries and Boules custom is a traditional event in Naoussa during the Halloween season. This special Halloween custom, which gives a strong traditional color to the carnival of Naoussa, dates back to the 18th century, while its roots can be traced to celebrations in ancient Greece, related to the god Dionysus. On Halloween in Tyrnavos, the daring traditional custom of Buran is revived. This is a Dionysian custom of the phallus, which together with the carnival of Tyrnavos attracts visitors from every corner of Greece. The inhabitants of Tyrnavos celebrate Burani every year to praise the fertility of the land, nature for the fruits it offers to people.

THE Thessaloniki is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful cities in our Greece . Its History chapter ,its attractions and its special location fill you with enchanting images and priceless knowledge. A walk on the beach in front of the white tower that was an Ottoman prison for four centuries and a visit directly opposite to the cinema museum , museum of photography but also of modern art has to give you unique experiences and knowledge.
