Departure for the March 25th Excursion to the Resorts of Pindos on 08.00 in the morning from Omonia. Our first stop will be at the height of Lamia for coffee. Then we take the road through an amazing route to the mountain resorts of Pindos, the villages of Koziakas. Our first visit will be to the Gate. Stop at the bridge of Ag. Bessarion, for photos and to admire this wonderful landscape. We continue to Elati and Pertouli, a route through the fir trees, where it is famous as the Switzerland of Greece. We end up at the Pertuli ski resort, which is one of the most popular destinations in Greece due to its unparalleled natural beauty. Free time for coffee at the chalet or anyone who wishes can do various activities such as: Ski, sleigh ride, ΑTV (pigs) and snowmobiles, horseback riding. Return to elati for lunch in the traditional taverns of the village. Finally we will depart for our luxury hotel Mouzaki Palace 4* for settlement and rest and anyone who wishes free can relax with the comforts and facilities of the hotel such as: heated swimming pool, sauna and gym. In the evening we are waiting for you at the restaurant for the rich dinner.
After our breakfast, we leave for Meteora, which is one of the most impressive monuments in the world. There is the second largest and most important monastic community in the Greek Orthodox area. That is why they have been designated the second Holy Mountain that has preserved the religious and monastic tradition for centuries. We will visit the monastery of Ag. Stephen for pilgrimage. Then we head to the picturesque Metsovo where it is built amphitheatrically at an altitude 1.160 meters in a forested embrace under Katara's neck, of this rugged stone mass of Pindos. In Metsovo we will have free time and optional visits to museums, the Folklore Museum of the Tositsa Foundation. Finally, we recommend a meal on the paved square (individual expenses) in traditional restaurants with spits. Return to the hotel to rest and enjoy its wonderful facilities free such as: heated swimming pool, sauna & gym. In the evening we will have a rich dinner.
After our breakfast, we depart for Trikala, the capital of the prefecture. The city of Trikala was the birthplace of Asclepios and Tsitsanis. In Trikala we will have free time to explore the Litheos river, the Kursum Mosque and walk the pedestrian streets. We suggest you have your lunch at the old greengrocers. Finally, we will take the road back to Athens with a stop for coffee and the best impressions from the March 25th excursion to the Resorts of Pindos.
