1 dayATHENA - PAMISO SPRINGS - AGIOS FLOROS - Kalamata

We are leaving for the Two-day excursion Kalamata Pamiso springs 08.00 in the morning from Omonia. Our first stop for coffee and breakfast is in Spathovuni. Then we take the road to Agios Floro, one of the most beautiful villages of Messinia, built on the banks of the river Pamisos. Its Location is 20 kilometers from Kalamata and its name came from the chapel of the Holy Martyrs Floros and Lavros. At the springs of Agios Floros, otherwise Pamisos springs, nature rages. A green landscape with lush vegetation and a unique Platano is located in the center of the village of the same name. The tree is historic with impressive dimensions and great aesthetics. It was planted 1599 and has been classified as a preserved natural monument. In Piges Pamisos and in the village of Agios Floros there is also a fish farm that grows trout which we can enjoy in the country center located there. After our tour and lunch we depart for the city of Kalamata for check-in at the hotel and free time for rest. In the evening we suggest you visit the bustling city of Kalamata, In the central square you can find many coffee shops and notable restaurants. End Dinner and overnight stay

2 dayHOLY TEMPLE YAPANTIS - Kalamata - ATHENA

After our morning meal we will visit the Metropolitan church of Ypapanti, located below the castle. It is the majestic metropolitan temple of the city and celebrates on 2 February.
The icon of Panagia Ypapanti is kept there, which was found in the ruins of an older church that was destroyed 1770. For those who wish, we recommend an Optional visit to the Magnificent Castle of the city or the collection of Greek clothing "Victoria Karelia", one of the most complete collections of Greek local costumes on a pan-Hellenic level. Then we will have free time at our disposal for a Tour of Kalamata, shopping for local products such as olives, Lalaki and. Once we have had our lunch, we end the two-day Kalamata Pamiso springs excursion by taking the road back to Athens with an intermediate stop for coffee.
