Gathering at Eleftherios Venizelos Airport for the 28 October and Christmas in Switzerland Panorama Excursion and flight to Zurich. Arrival, board the coach and depart for cosmopolitan Interlanken the city between the lakes as its name implies. We will walk along Hevek Avenue with its walnut and chestnut trees and admire the unique beauties of the city. Continuing through the beautiful Swiss countryside we will visit one of Switzerland's most beautiful and important cities and the capital of Switzerland, Bern, which is built on the banks of the Aar river. On our tour of the old town we will see the famous Clock Tower with the most beautiful clock puppet theater, the Cathedral of Saint Vincent and the building that houses the Federal Parliament. We continue to our final station, Lausanne, built on the shores of Lake Geneva. On the panoramic tour we will see the Gothic Cathedral of the 12th century, the Church of Saint Francis and finally the 12th century Fortress. Transfer and check-in at our hotel. Overnight.

Breakfast at the hotel. Boarding the coach and departure for the magical Lucerne. The old town is impressive with the colored facades of the houses, the cobbled streets and the small squares decorated with fountains. A great attraction is the wooden covered medieval Kapellbrike bridge which depicts the history of the city in 120 paintings painted on wood, the old Town Hall and the cobbled historic center give the city a fairy-tale feel. Free time. Subsequently, arrival in Zurich, transfer and check-in at our hotel in Zurich. Overnight.
Breakfast and departure for Switzerland's most famous world-famous tourist resort, St. Moritz, through a unique route of about three hours that will fascinate you. We will pass lakes, glaciers and ghostly villages located between lush forests and mountains and impress with their picturesqueness and beauty. Arrival in St. Moritz and free time to explore and sample local delicacies, such as the famous cheese fondue. Return to our hotel in Zurich. Overnight.

We will cross the Bahnhofstrasse where Switzerland's biggest banks and trendy shops are located, the Cathedral, the 13th century Gothic Fraumnister Church famous for its stained glass windows, the church of Agios Petros with the largest clock plate in Europe, the building housing the City Hall, the Opera, and the modern Le Courmouzier building which is the environmental protection centre. Then departure for the Rhine Falls, located in the town of Schaffhausen on the border of Switzerland and Germany to see the most impressive waterfalls in Europe, in the green Alpine landscape. Late afternoon transfer to Zurich airport and return flight. According to the current European directives, the old-style Greek identities (blue) are accepted for travel within the European Union and Schengen countries until the beginning of August 2026.
However, to avoid problems during air or border control, special attention to the following is recommended:
IDs issued by 2011 and after, as long as it is in good condition and the information is clearly written, are usually accepted up to 03/08/2026.
IDs issued before 2011 — and especially before the 2006 — it is good that they have already been replaced with a new type of identity card or that they are accompanied by a valid passport, as they may not be accepted by airlines or border authorities.
Worn out, defaced or illegible IDs may also result in denied boarding or entry, regardless of the date of issue.
