Olympus village

It is located on the north side, Olympos is the most impressive village of the island. Because of its isolated location, this village keeps its daily life and traditions intact.

Kyra Panagia beach

Ancient Potideon

Diafani village

Horseback riding

The Karpathos Equestrian Club is the only place on the island where you can actually ride a horse. Riding lessons available for all ages, starting from 6 years. Younger ones can enjoy a ride on a donkey. In case you don't want to ride a horse, you can just visit the club with your kids and let them know what an amazing animal the horse really is. All riding sessions take place in nature, either in the mountains or on the beach, with flexible schedules being an option.

Surfing

Windsurfing

In recent years, Karpathos has been developing as a windsurfing destination. Especially the beaches on the south side of the island, such as Makrygialos and Afiartis, they are great for wind.

Only recently has autonomous diving started to develop in Karpathos, as this activity was not allowed in the environmental marine park around Karpathos and Kasos. Where to go to eat?

The places to eat and drink in Karpathos are scattered all over the island. Most of the restaurants in Karpathos are located in the main tourist spots, such as the Wells, the Arkasa, Ammoopi, the White and the Transparent. Other restaurants and taverns are located in less touristy places, but they still offer authentic food and fantastic views of the countryside or the sea. The main nightlife spot of Karpathos with a few bars that stay open late is actually the beach road of the port of Pigadia.
