We depart at 08:00 in the morning from Omonia. We make our first stop for coffee at the height of Kiato. We continue towards Rio – Antirrio and, following a beautiful route, we arrive in Vonica, seaside town of Etoloakarnania, on the shores of the Amvrakiko Gulf. For those who wish, we recommend an optional visit to the Venetian Castle, one of the best preserved castles in Greece, with an impressive panoramic view. Free time for optional lunch. Then departure for the Monastery of Panagia Faneromeni, patron and protector of Lefkada. The Holy Monastery is built on the sacred rock of "Kyra". Time for pilgrimage and arrival in the city of Lefkada, check in at the hotel.
After breakfast, departure for the seaside resorts of eastern Lefkada. Taking at the same time from the villages of Karyotes, Lygia, Nikiana and Periyali , we arrive at Nydri. Inside the bay stand out the famous Prigiponnisia. There we will have free time for (Optional mini cruise with individual expenses) . Boarding the ship and departure for the green islands. Madhuri, Sparta, Heloni and Skorpidi with the neoclassical architecture of Aristotle Valaoritis are just a few of the many beautiful places we will come across. Scorpio and the private island of Aristotle Onassis impress her. In the picturesque coastal Nydri we will stay for our lunch. Return to the city of Lefkada to watch the carnival events. the carnival is called "Faromanita" which means noise and commotion and as a word has Italian origin, remnant of the Venetian rule on the island. The historic center has an atmospheric waterfront ideal for sunset walks. One of the most popular sights of the old town, is the Venetian Clock Tower, with his sundial dating from 1752. Here we will have free time to participate in the Kouloumas. Every year a traditional feast is organized in Shaitan Bazaar, in the picturesque cobbled alley in the historic center of the city. Then we take the way back to Athens, with an intermediate stop for coffee. Arrival in the evening with the best impressions .
