We are leaving for the Vytina excursion – Mantinea – Lever 08.00 from Omonia. We make an intermediate stop with time for coffee in Spathovuni. Then we continue to the church of Agia Fotini. This magical little church is built opposite the Archaeological site of Ancient Mantineia, in the plain. The truth is that you won't find anything like him anywhere in Greece, you cannot classify it in any specific architecture because it combines elements of ancient Greece with the Christian spirit. Its inspiration and creator was Kostas Papatheodorou, also known as an architect, painter and iconographer. After our tour of Mantineia we depart for picturesque Vytina, one of the most beautiful mountain villages of Arcadia. In the center of the town we find a beautiful square, the church of Agios Tryfons with the famous black marble but also the famous street of love that you will have time to take a photo of. We will stay in Vytina 4 hours to tour the beautiful village of the area and have lunch enjoying local recipes. Finally we will make our way to the beautiful Levidi. There we can enjoy a coffee in the central square of the village, because we will have an hour's stay to browse the many mansions and stone-built shops and stock up on local products and sweets before returning to our Athens.
