1 DayAthens – Kalambaka – Kozani – Ptolemaida

Departure for our four-day Easter excursion Kastoria – Prespes – Kalambaka excursion on 07:30 in the morning from Omonia. First stop for coffee at the height of Agios Konstantinos. We continue to Kalambaka, built at the roots of the impressive rocks of Meteora, where we will have free time for sightseeing and optional lunch. Afterward, we take the road to Kozani. Arrival in beautiful Ptolemaida follows, is spread out in the valley of Eordaia and embraced by the slopes of Mount Askio. We settle into our hotel unit Pantelidis Hotel 4★ with free time for relaxation and rest. In the evening we will watch the Epitaph Mass and then we will enjoy the fasting dinner at the hotel.

2 DayKastoria – Mavriotissa Monastery – Prespes – Agios Achillios – Psarades

After breakfast, we look forward to the beautiful Kastoria. The most precious gem of Lake Orestiada. Our first visit will be to the historic Holy Monastery of Panagia Mavriotissa, important Byzantine religious monument. Time for pilgrimage and sightseeing. Subsequently, visit to the old district of Dolço, with its stone-built alleys and impressive mansions. Free time for coffee. Departure for Prespes with First stop at Agios Achilleios, one of the few inhabited lake islands in Greece, which is connected to the mainland by a floating footbridge 650 meters. There we will admire the Basilica of Agios Achillios, built in the 10th century AD. by the Bulgarian Tsar Samuel. We continue to the picturesque village of Psarades, where we will have time to relax, coffee or tsipouro in traditional coffee shops and an optional meal with local flavors, such as the famous grivadi, Prespa beans and Florina peppers. Return to the hotel for rest. In the evening, watch the Resurrection Procession and return to the hotel for the Resurrection dinner with stew, egg scrambling and traditional delicacies.

3 DayEaster Sunday – Easter Feast

Christ is Risen! Breakfast and preparation for the big Easter feast. In the garden of the hotel we enjoy the traditional roasting of Obelia, fine ouzo appetizers and music, in an authentic Easter atmosphere until late afternoon. Our afternoon free for Relaxation individual activities overnight stay.

4 Day Ptolemaida – Trikala – Athens

After breakfast, departure for Trikala, capital of the prefecture and city of Asklipios and Vassilis Tsitsanis. . There we will have free time to tour and admire the Litheos river, the Kursum mosque and walk the pedestrian streets. We recommend an optional lunch at the old greengrocers with traditional recipes. Finally we will take the road back to our Athens with an intermediate stop for coffee.
