08:00 – Departure from Omonia bound for Argolis. Through the National Road we head towards Corinthia, crossing beautiful areas of the Peloponnese.
Stop at Megara for coffee and rest.
Then we continue our route to the Historical Holy Monastery of Agnountos, a monastery with a significant contribution to the struggle of the Greek Revolution 1821. We will have time for pilgrimage and visitation, knowing an important part of the history of the area.
Then we head to historic Nea Epidavros (Piada), a place of particular importance for modern Greek history. The 1st National Assembly of the Greeks was held here in January 1822, where the first Greek Constitution was passed and the foundations of the modern Greek state were laid. We will have time for a short tour of the historic area.
Then we will go to the beach of Epidaurus, where we will have free time for lunch in seaside taverns and for a leisurely walk by the sea.
In the afternoon departure for our return to Athens, full of beautiful images and historical memories from a special holiday trip.

THE Agnountos Holy Monastery is located near Nea Epidavros and is one of the most important historical monasteries of Argolis. With a history lost in the centuries, the monastery is directly connected to her struggle of the Greek Revolution 1821, as it offered refuge and aid to the militants in the area. Today it is a special place of pilgrimage and spiritual peace, in a beautiful natural environment.
THE New Epidaurus, formerly known as Piada, occupies an important place in modern Greek history. This is where the 1st National Assembly of the Greeks in January 1822, during which the first Constitution of Greece was voted and the independence of the Greek nation was proclaimed. In the area is the historical site of the assembly, which recalls the first steps of the creation of the Greek state.
THE beach of Epidaurus is a picturesque seaside destination in the Argolic Gulf. With clear water, beautiful views and traditional taverns by the sea, is an ideal place to relax and have a meal. The visitor can enjoy his walk in the port and experience the genuine hospitality of the area.
