Galatas is a picturesque town on its eastern side Peloponnese relatively close to the foot of the Aderon. It has the privilege of combining the beauty of the mountain and the sea. It is only a short distance from Athens 170 km. and is located opposite his islet Resource from which its distance is, just 3 minutes by boat. The name came from two cheese factories in the local area that collected milk from the herds of shepherds living in the surrounding areas.
In the present period it is the seat of the Municipality Troizinia-Methanon and its inhabitants count in 2.500. Its blue-green beaches and its local flavors steal the impressions of the travelers who visit it.
Due to its short distance from Athens, The Resource attracts many visitors for the weekend or for a few days of relaxation. It is a beautiful green island, full of pine forests, picturesque villages and organized beaches. Sights are few in the Resource and the most important is its historical monastery Life Giving Fountain, surrounded by green landscape. There are also the Archaeological Museum, The Temple of the god Poseidon ,the clock tower and more.
Apart from a picturesque town, The ResourceIt also has fantastic beaches with lush green and blue-green waters. Love Bay and the Askeli are the two most important beaches of the island, although there are many other nice green coves for swimming.

We're leaving 8.00 in the morning from Constitution and 8.05 in the morning from Concord for the unique ones Baths of beautiful Helen, There we make our first stop for coffee and relaxation.
