Then we head towards the center of Europe's multicultural metropolis where we will start with a panoramic tour of the city's most important attractions. During our tour we will pass by the monument to Albert and the Royal Albert Hall (Royal Albert Hall), from the famous Hyde Park (Hyde Park) after 640 acres of land bordering the gardens and palaces of Kensington Palace, then by Marble Arts ( marble arch ) the only marble monument in London and crossing the famous Park Lane (Park Lane) and passing Green Park (Green Park) we arrive at the hallmark of London's nightlife, Piccadilly Square (Piccadilly square). Then we will pass by Trafalgar Square (Trafalgar square) which is also called the navel of London because all distances to other cities in England and abroad are officially measured from here. Continuing on the famous White Hall Road (Whitehall) we will also see Buckingham Palace (Buckingham Palace) where King Charles lives where his mother Queen Elizabeth II also lived, while then we will also pass in front of the entrance of the official palace of the monarchy which is the palace of Agios Iakovos, but because it was relatively small the Royal Court decided it 1837 to be transferred to neighboring Buckingham Palace. We continue the panoramic tour passing the famous Parliament building an amazing building built in two different centuries the 11th and 19th century. The parliament houses the house of lords and the house of commons while of course we can also see the clock of the parliament the famous Big Ben (Big Ben). Across from Parliament is St Margaret's Church and next to it is the amazing Westminster Abbey. The tour ends with our visit to the famous British Museum where, among others, we will see the wing of Greek antiquities where the uniquely beautiful sculptures of the Parthenon are exhibited and we will admire a multitude of other antiquities including the Mausoleum of Halicarnassus and the temple of Artemis. English breakfast buffet. Departure to Windsor Castle, First we will pass by the Royal College of Eton which was founded in 1440 . The college environment beneath its arched towers still nurtures princes, dukes, lords, counts, and aristocrats of every class. Eton College is an all-boys boarding school. It is one of the most recognized educational institutions, with prestige and rules resembling royal protocol, while his students – offspring of the global elite – they manage to get admitted in a huge percentage to so-called Ivy League universities – but also in the famous institutions of Oxford and Cambridge in particular and indeed in a percentage 30%. It is no coincidence that at Eton College they have finished 20 prime ministers of Great Britain, including David Cameron but also Boris Johnson, King Charles and many others. Princes William and Harry are among its most famous graduates, while if we take a look back in the past in its corridors we will "meet" personalities like Ian Fleming, George Orwell, but also members of the Rothschild families, Goldsmith and Vanderbilt. We then cross over the River Thames which rises from the mountains of Wales and passes through the Royal Village of Windsor on its way. Windsor is a Royal village because the summer palaces of the Royal family are also hosted inside the castle. The castle is notable for its long association with the English and later the British royal family, but also for its architecture. The original Windsor Castle was built in the 11th century, after the Norman conquest of England under William I. Since the time of Henry I, it has been used by each monarch. The castle also includes the chapel of Agios Georgios, which was built in the 15th century and is the spiritual place of the castle. It is the most populated castle in the world, as more than 500 people live and work there. Queen Elizabeth II used the castle for her weekend stay, as well as a place for receptions and reception of foreign guests. Every year the Waterloo Ceremony is held there, with the presence of the King and the annual ceremony of the Order of Periknemis, which takes place in the Chapel of Agios Georgios. After the end of the tour leaving Windsor we will pass around the back of the castle where we will see the route that Queen Elizabeth used to take which is an absolute one mile straight to attend every June and watch the Royal Ascot Races. Continuing we will pass through the park of Runnymede (Runnymede) where we will see the Magna Carta monument (Magna Carta) where the 1215 King John the Exchequer met with a group of barons in this small piece of countryside. Here he sealed the Magna Carta, considered by many to be the symbolic first step on the road to modern democracy. Departure for the airport and return flight to Greece with the best impressions from our excursion.
