1 dayAthena - Warsaw - Krakow

Gathering at the airport El. Venizelos for the excursion to Poland and a Warsaw flight, the capital of Poland. Arrival and a first acquaintance with the city and free time to eat. Subsequently, departure for Krakow. Upon arrival, Transfer and settlement to our hotel. Free time, overnight.

2the day:2the day: Krakow - Vielitska salt mines

Breakfast at our hotel and we start touring the Renaissance city of Krakow. We will admire the old buildings of the old capital of Poland from the 13th to the 17th century, characterized as UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will start with its large medieval square, We will see the old town, the TOWN HALL, Mariatski Church and we will go up to Vavel Hill (Wawel), an architectural masterpiece that has witnessed centuries of Polish history. We will admire the Gothic, Renaissance and Roman elements that adorn this fortress with the castle of Kings of Poland, where the 14th -century cathedral dominates, spiritual center and resting place of Polish monarchs. Sigismund's bell, an iconic symbol of Poland, reverberates through the air. We will walk to the Central Market Square, Main Square, the largest medieval square in Europe, length 200 meters, which is surrounded by impressive buildings, a shopping mall and a flea market, where the impressive textile hall stands as a symbol of Krakow's medieval trading heritage. We will explore the heart of the market square, where the Basilica of Saint Mary dominates, a Gothic masterpiece with a stunning wooden panel by the German sculptor Veit Stoss. Then departure for Wieliczka Salt Mines, which are a UNESCO World Heritage Site. These are the largest salt mines in Europe with more than 1.100.000 visitors per year. The Wieliczka Salt Mine was founded in the 13th century and is the second oldest salt mine in Europe, while it extends over nine underground levels and reaches a depth of 327 meters, with more than 2.040 halls. The most important attraction inside the mine is the Museum, which lies in depth 130 meters and it exhibits impressive works of salt art. Particularly impressive and richly decorated is the “Chapel of the Blessed Kinga”, a cathedral with height 12 meters, for the manufacture of which they were used 20.000 tons of solid salt! Subsequently, return to Krakow and free time. Overnight.

3 DayAuschwitz - Wroclaw

Breakfast at our hotel and departure for Auschwitz. The Auschwitz concentration camp complex, the largest of its kind, played an important role in the execution of the Nazi plan for the “Final Solution” and went down in history as one of the most notorious camps of the Holocaust. More than 1,1 millions of people died in Auschwitz, including one million Jews, while today visiting it gives visitors the opportunity to get to know the horrors of the Second World War up close and to preserve the historical memory. Then departure for Wroclaw, this colorful city in Poland that looks like it has sprung from the pages of a fairy tale, since the Oder river that crosses the city gives an even more fairy-tale feel with its bridges. Wroclaw is the fourth largest city in the country. Upon arrival, transfer to our hotel, arrangement in the rooms and overnight stay.

4 Day Wroclaw, City tour - Warsaw

Breakfast at our hotel and departure for our acquaintance with the city. We will tour this impressive city with its large parks, the colorful Gothic buildings and elegant mansions. We will see the famous dwarfs of Wroclaw, statues that are scattered throughout the city and symbolize, according to legend, saving the city from the goblin Chochlik. The central Rynek square awaits us, which is also the second largest in the country. We will see the old Town Hall and the church of Agia Vasiliki from where it has an excellent view of the city. Centennial Hall is also excellent, UNESCO World Heritage Site and Szczytnicki Park which is one of the most beautiful in the city. Around noon 13.00 departure for Warsaw. Upon arrival, transfer to our hotel, arrangement in the rooms and overnight stay.

5 dayWarsaw, City tour

Breakfast at our hotel and we start our tour of Warsaw. We will walk through the Old Town, crossed by the Vistula River, it was completely destroyed during World War II and rebuilt exactly as it was before. We will see sights of unique beauty, like the mermaid statue, work of the sculptor Konietsky, in the main square Rynek Starego Miastra and we will make a stop at the Castle Square to admire the Sigmund Column which is the hallmark of the city. The Castle is called "Zamek Krolewski Palace" and it is beautiful, but also gives color to the square with its reddish color. We will also see Victory Square with its imposing buildings, the Monument to the Heroes of the Ghetto, Marie Curie's house and finally the old Lazienki Palace, with the statue of Chopin. We will head to Krakowskie Przedmiescie and see the Church of St. Anne, the Presidential Palace and the University of Warsaw. Free time in the city. Transfer to our hotel, overnight.
