We are leaving for the Excursion to Monemvasia 07:00 in the morning by consensus. Our first coffee stop will be at Artemisio. Then we take the road to Monemvasia, with imposing castles, the old stone mansions, the house of Ritsos but also the Byzantine Churches. In Monemvasia we will stay for lunch at any taverna that everyone chooses, the optional visit to the castle. Then we end up at our hotel, to Skala for arranging the rooms and free time, dinner and overnight stay.
After enjoying our morning meal we will depart for Messinian Mani. The towers revive the past with their imposing presence. Our first visit will be to the Areopolis and Diros Cave ( individual expenses ). Boating among stalactites and stalagmites is an unforgettable experience. Then we leave for Limeni, a distinctive seaside resort with stone houses on the water, port in Areopolis and traditional settlements. In Limeni we will have free time for sightseeing and lunch in one of the local taverns of the area. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
After our morning meal we depart for the picturesque Gythio, which is the second largest city of the prefecture of Laconia and the capital of the cosmopolitan Mani. The coastal town is surrounded by island color and aroma. Free time for sightseeing and lunch, before
