Gathering at the airport for the Budapest Christmas Excursion. Flight to the capital of Slovakia, Bratislava. Departure for Imperial Budapest . Upon arrival, the city tour will begin. Beautiful, welcoming and "resting" on the banks of the Danube, on the right, Buda built on low hills and on the left, Pest spread over a plain. Eight wonderful bridges connect these two pieces, where here and there 100 years have united in one city. We will see the impressive Parliament building, Heroes' Square, the Chain Bridge, the magnificent church of Ag. Matthew, the Fishermen's Tower which is the symbol of the city and the Gellert Hill. Transfer to the hotel for our check-in. Free afternoon to spend as you wish. You can stroll down Vatsi Utsa Street with its nice shops and trendy Martinelli Square or Varosmarti Square with the famous Zerbo Cafe. Overnight.

In the heart of the city at the end of Vatsi Utsa Avenue is Vorosmarty Square where a Christmas market is set up every year. You can try some of the delicious white wines and taste Hungarian pork, traditional cake with sugar coating, with walnuts or coconut and chocolate. At the end of Andrassy Avenue you will find Heroes Square , one of Hungary's World Heritage Sites. One of the most beautiful European parks is located there, with a wonderful lake that when frozen turns into an ice rink and in fact it is the largest outdoor skating rink in Central Europe! For the evening we suggest you have fun in a local tavern with gypsy violins. Overnight.
Breakfast at the hotel. Full day excursion to the first capital of Hungary, Esztergom,. where we will visit the metropolitan temple of the city, which was up to 1976 among the largest in Europe. In the traditional Center, we will visit the Museum of sculptor Margit Kovacs and its small orthodox church 1752, built by the architect Mayer-Hoffer. Then we will wander through the Village of Artists and Fine Arts, as St. is typically called. Andrew, where the church of Agios Stefanos dominates with the royal tombs. Return to our hotel. Overnight.

Upon arrival in the city of Bratislava, the guided tour of the old town of Stare Mesto will begin, taking visitors back a few centuries., as they walk the cobbled streets, they admire the baroque architecture and relax in cafes and restaurants. A short distance from the old town, we will still see important sights, such as the 15th century Hrant Castle which houses the Museum of History and Music, the Slovak National Theater and Philharmonic Orchestra as well as the National Gallery housed in an 18th century palace. Free time until the time we will be transferred to the airport for our return flight to Athens .
