Meeting at the airport and flight to the capital of Catalonia, Barcelona. As soon as we get settled in our hotel, we immediately start the tour of this vibrant city. The tour will start from the most traditional pedestrian street, the Rambla. We will walk through the beautiful alleys of the Gothic quarter, where we will admire the illuminated Cathedral. Our camera will capture the magnificence of Vasileos Square and Sant Jaume Square, where the Town Hall and the Palacio de la Generalitat dominate. Our final stop is the bustling Royal Square, which in turn will take us through the local cuisine and traditional dishes. Through a multitude of restaurants, cafe and bar, we choose the one that meets the taste buds & our travel expectations. Overnight.

Breakfast at our hotel and we immediately start our tour. Today's excursion is about Barcelona and its hidden treasures. Walking down the Rambla, Barcelona's most famous pedestrian street with its flower market and endless vibrancy, we will see the Monument dedicated to Columbus, the Naval and Military Headquarters as well as the Maritime museum (former Royal Dockyards). We will not miss to visit the central food and fruit market "La Boqueria", in which you can try delicious local cold meats, as well as to taste fresh fish and tapas. It's the Lyric Stage's turn, in which the greatest tenors and sopranos of the world have appeared, and the Palacio de la Virreina, Palace of the Consort, an 18th century baroque building. On our way, we will meet the Canaletas fountain, where according to local tradition, whoever drinks water from it will return to Barcelona again. At the same time, is a meeting point for Warsaw football team fans to celebrate each new trophy. Then, we will meet in Plaza de Catalunya, i.e. in the center of the city and in the kilometer 0 of Catalonia as it is considered. The shops will attract our interest, but no more so than the original Mural del beso artwork (Mural of the kiss), officially called "The World Is Born in Every Kiss". Our tour of the Gothic quarter could not miss the Cathedral, trademark of Barcelona, which is dedicated to Saint Eulalia and the Holy Cross, Vasileos Square, this monumental square surrounded by Gothic and Renaissance buildings, as well as Sant Jaume square, which is the political center of Catalonia. Little by little we are moving to the new Barcelona, passing by Port Vell Marina, Barceloneta, the old fishing village with the beautiful beaches and the Olympic museum, to reach the Sagrada Familia (Holy Family). It is the most important work of Antonio Gaudi, while it rightfully holds the title of the most visited monument in Barcelona. Then, we are about to cross the most beautiful and expensive avenue in the city, την Walk Of Grace, where we will meet its best hotels, the most famous fashion houses as well as the two most famous houses of A. Gaudi, the Casa Mila or Pedrera and the Casa Batllo. End, passing through Plaza Espana, we will admire the fountains of Montjuic and the Spanish village, an open-air architectural museum that is a miniature of traditional Spanish architecture from its exhibition 1929. Going down the hill we will see the tourist port which is the first in the Mediterranean in number of passengers, the Olympic ring and the Maremagnum, the only licensed shopping center in the city 365 days a year. Breakfast at the hotel and we have today free at our disposal to utilize it exactly as we wish. No doubt, we recommend visiting Parque Guell (entrance approximately €10), the park designed by the architect A. Gaudi, the greatest exponent of Catalan modernism, of great architectural interest. It is a huge balcony, decorated with colorful marbles, mosaics and dragon fountains, from where one can enjoy their coffee with a view of the whole city of Barcelona. For the little kid inside you, we suggest you visit the Barcelona Aquarium, one of the most important in Europe, the largest Park in the city "Parc de la Ciutadella", with its zoo, while don't miss the famous CampNou stadium, which is the headquarters of F.C.Barcelona. For art lovers, the Picasso Museum and the Museum of the Surrealist painter Juan Miro will be an unforgettable experience. In the evening we recommend the traditional Flamenco show. After breakfast at the hotel we will depart for the Historic city of Girona, where we will admire, among other things, the cathedral and the Jewish quarter. Free time to explore the picturesque alleys of the castle. Then we will visit Figueres, where the museum-theater of the famous painter Salvador Dali is located. Immerse yourself in the surreal atmosphere of his works from the first years of his artistic activity to the last years of his life. Leaving the museum, we suggest you visit the Catholic church of Ag. Paul. Admire its Gothic architecture with vaulted ceilings and the simplicity of the church. Return to Barcelona. Free time.
