Limbovisi is an abandoned village in Arcadia, located in a fir-tree location at 1.210 meters altitude, above the ravines of Mainalo. Dominating a mountainous landscape full of water, with a commanding view of Mainalo, managed to be preserved due to historical importance even though it was abandoned. The famous Theodoros Kolokotronis and his family came from Limbovisi, where he lived there for twelve generations. The building, where according to tradition, the "Old Man of Morea" was born, perched on a small hill, it has been restored and functions as a museum. The cafe and the museum , they operate on weekends from morning to afternoon, with the opening hours varying according to the season.
