We are leaving for the Excursion Porto Heli Costa Hydra Spetses 06.30 in the morning by consensus. We make a stop in Spathovuni for coffee and continue our route to Metohi, a coastal village in the prefecture of Argolis. In Metochi we will board for the optional full-day cruise and the most beautiful island of the Argosaronic, the Hydra. The imposing houses, the well-preserved mansions that are built amphitheatrically under the bare rocks compose a unique image. The tourist shops, the restaurants, cafes and water taxis make Hydra an ideal weekend destination. In the early afternoon we make our way back to our hotel Galaxy Hotel 3* in Porto Heli. In the evening, a rich buffet dinner and overnight stay will follow.
After our breakfast we will depart for Costa. In Costa will be followed by boarding the boats that will take us in fifteen minutes to the magical Spetses. In Spetses we visit the three hundred year old Mansion of Laskarina Bouboulina. The Mansion has been operating as a museum since 1992 and inside it we find relics and personal items of the Heroine's Struggle. Then we will visit the Spetses Museum, an imposing building built between the 1795 and 1798. The Museum hosts exhibits that represent more than 4000 years of cultural history of the island and Greece. The rest of our stay on the island is about free time to browse the alleys of Dapia or walk along the sea to the old port. also, a carriage ride is more than worth it. Then we have our Lunch with (Individual Expenses) and in the early afternoon we will take the road back to our Athens with an intermediate stop for coffee.
