We are leaving for the Kalamata Pylos Methoni Two-Day Excursion 08.00 in the morning by consensus. Our first coffee stop will be at the height of Spathovouni. Then we take the road to Kalamata, where we visit the Metropolitan church of Ypapanti, who built the 1859. The icon of Panagia Ypapanti is kept there, which was found in the ruins of an older church that was destroyed 1770. Followed by an optional visit to the collection of Greek clothing "Victoria Karelia", one of the most complete collections of Greek local costumes on a pan-Hellenic level. At noon we will have lunch on the beach of Kalamata with individual expenses and then will be settled in our hotel unit with free time for rest . In the evening we recommend a walk in the central square of the illuminated city with its many shops, cafe and restaurant. Overnight stay

After our breakfast, we will depart for Gialovas beach. Here we will enjoy our coffee and then continue to Methoni. Methoni is an impressive picturesque town at the southwestern end of the Peloponnese. Its main jewel is the well-preserved medieval castle with its high walls and the famous octagonal Bourzi built on the edge of the peninsula. An optional visit to the castle follows with time for a tour and then we depart for the beautiful Pylos which is a small town on the western coast of the prefecture of Messinia. Pylos is built in the bay of Navarino, opposite the islet of Sfaktiria. In Pylos we will have free time for sightseeing and lunch in one of the picturesque taverns of the Town. Finally we return to Athens with a stopover, coffee.
