ARRIVAL IN KOBRA where we will tour the university and the streets of the city of poets with its much -perpetrated river Modego We will also be found in the courtyard of the church of Santa Clara La Nova where we will have panoramic views from all over the city of Koambra.. After breakfast departure for Porto. Our first stop in the Bousako Forest The National Forest of the Portuguese and one of Europe's richest in plants. On our way we will make a stop in the city of channels ,the "Venice of Portugal" the Avero, where we will admire the boats that look like traditional Venice gondolas. Then departure for Porto a city representing delivery ,the human values , the hard work and power of the Portuguese nation's soul. The city also gave its name to the homonymous famous wine "Porto" produced by the cultivation of vine varieties after the guidance of a British community developed in the port of the city. Overnight.
After breakfast we will be guided to the impressive city built on the banks of the Douro River and spreads harmoniously on the hills, still maintaining its medieval view today.. After the breakfast departure for an all -day excursion to the province of mini. The first stop of our route will be Braga where we will admire the Cathedral and the sanctuary of Jesus that presents important baroque style samples. We will then visit Guimaraes the cradle of the Callic Nation. Which was the first capital of Portugal. It is the birthplace of Portuguese nationality as well as the city where the first king of Portugal was born "Aonos Enrick" . We will see the castle of the area and the historic center , which are UNESCO's historical heritage monuments. Return to Porto. Overnight.
Departure in the morning to Lisbon. Our first station The Temple of Batalia, UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will then go to the Atlantic Tourist fishing village of Nazareth. An experience that will be unforgettable for you because of the briefness and vitality you will receive from its residents as well as the unique feeling that creates a small village impregnated with tradition and where we will have the opportunity to try local cuisine.. Finally we will also visit the beautiful medieval village of artists of Obitus. We will walk the narrow alleys between white houses adorned with colorful flowers and enjoy a panoramic view of the height walls 13 measures surrounding the village around. Our today's tour is dedicated to the picturesque and welcoming city, which despite the continuous raids of the barbaric peoples for many centuries, It still maintains its Latin glorious character. One of the most famous attractions in the city and perhaps the most beautiful and elaborate in the world is the Museum of Royal Womans, where we will admire a unique collection of luxury and wealth dating between the 17th and 19th centuries. We will visit the monastery of the Hierarchs, the most impressive symbol of Portuguese power and wealth, where it was built 1502 At the command of King Manuel I to honor Vasco Da Gama's memory for his successful return from India. Finally, we will visit the Monument to the Discoveries as well as the characteristic tower of Belem, from where the Portuguese navigators set out for the ends of the earth. This famous tower that looks more like a tiny castle, built the 1515 Near the Bank of the Tejo River to protect the estuaries of the river and has been described by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. In the evening we suggest you enjoy the traditional Portuguese fado songs, made known all over the world by renowned singer Amalia Rodriguez. Return to the hotel. Overnight
Breakfast at the hotel and depart for a very enjoyable excursion to the outskirts of Lisbon, In Sintra Summer Housing of Kings, the cassette that is a very beautiful fishing village , Estoril The Portugal Tourist Resort and Cabo Da Roca, The westernmost point of the European Epirus and Portugal in the Atlantic Ocean. Return to Lisbon where we will finish our current excursion to the Nations Park for the International Expo Exhibition 1998 From where we can admire the Vasco da Gama bridge among others. In the same park there is the Lisbon Aquarium Oceanario. Overnight.
Today is our last day in the capital of Portugal.
Full of memories we fly back to Greece. Arrival in Athens.
