Departure for the Kalavryta and Zacholi Two-Day Excursion 08.00 the Morning from Omonia. Our first coffee stop will be at the height of Kiato. Then we take the road to the historical monastery of Agia Lavra. This mythical chapel played an important role in the history of our Greece, since the great chieftains who raised the banner of the Revolution took the oath in it. Then we head to the town of Kalavryta where we will have time for lunch and a walk around the local area. After you've had your meal, we propose two separate programs. 1) Optional ride on the Toothless train n 2)Visit to the Great Cave which is built on a mythical rock with an altitude of about nine hundred and thirty meters. After a day full of wonderful images we take the road to Xylokastro, for Arrangement in the rooms of our Hotel Αrion Hotel 4* and Rest. In the evening we will have dinner and overnight stay
After our breakfast, we depart for Derveni Corinthia. Climbing the slopes of Mount Helidorea, we end up at the Monastery of Panagia Katafygiotissa. The Monastery dates from 1772 and was built by local residents who found refuge in the great persecution of the Turks. There we will have a stop for pilgrimage. We continue to the green city with running water also known as Eurostina or Zacholi. In Zacholi we will have free time for lunch and to get to know the beautiful village. Finally we take the way back with an intermediate stop for coffee and arrival in our Athens Vradaki.
