GENERAL TERMS OF PARTICIPATION OF A TRAVELER IN AN ORGANIZED TOUR PACKAGE
Pursuant to the Government Ordinance 7/2018, with Directive EE
2015/2302
Please pay close attention when reading the following General Terms of Participation, which are part of the contract of the organized trip, as well as information with recommendations given to you, before completing your registration for one of our organized trips. Participation in any organized trip of our tourist office, presupposes the careful study of the program of the specific tour package and the acceptance by the traveler/tourist of the General Conditions of Participation , according to the P.D. 7/2018. Therefore, you enjoy all the rights provided in the EU for the packages in question. The General Terms of Participation contain general updates and information, as well as the rights and obligations of the two parties to the organized trip, while regarding the special information (destinations, prices, days and times of departure and return, means of transport, accommodations, visits etc.), that pertain to each organized trip separately, you must consult the currently applicable program and the relevant price list available. The excursion programs of the trips are valid for the period indicated according to the relevant forms that the customers have or the posted online forms on the web site of the Athanasiadis Travel Company (www.athanasiadistravel.gr) (where possible changes are indicated, corrections and travel information, that bind all travelers) and in indivisible combination with the applicable price list.

1. ORGANIZER – GENERAL TOURISM OFFICE

Our company, with the name ATHANASIADIS I ANGELEA N.E. "With the distinctive title "ATHANASIADIS TRAVEL", and headquarters at the University 67 , with number MH.T.E(0206E60000857601) and E contact numbers 2106001810 – 2103312333 email [email protected] , henceforth it will be called "General Tourism Office", and will be a member of GEPOET as a travel organizer, either alone or in joint cooperation with other tourist agencies or acts as an intermediary between other tourist agencies and means of transport, with the final purpose of selling these organized trips to the traveler/tourist.

2. GENERALLY
The information with the figures and recommendations contained in the General Conditions of Participation have been checked by our office, for their validity and standardization, are of a general nature and apply as they are without possible variations, unless something more specific or different is mentioned in the program of each excursion package. The programms, including the current price list, they are valid for the period indicated on them. Information and details of travel programs are subject to change, due to extraordinary changes such as for example ( weather phenomenon). In this case, you will be notified immediately in the most convenient way and therefore we must have all your contact details, for the declaration of which you are solely responsible. Seat changes on the bus are not performed during the journey. The scheduled stops of the tour cannot be changed once they have been arranged and processed by our office.. Our Office reserves the right to change and choose the size of the buses depending on the number of participants in the excursion package.

3. REGISTRATIONS – PARTICIPATION IN ORGANIZED TRIPS
Registration is done by visiting our offices or the offices of our partners, by mail ( electronics), fax, the phone, Provided (in order to reserve seats on the particular trip): 1being the payment of the advance provided for each time ( 40% ) or the entire amount, in cash or by credit/debit or prepaid card or by remittance to the tourist office, within 48 hours, and 2nd of unconditional acceptance and compliance with these General Terms. For valid registration, the specific trip should be indicated on the advance payment receipt, with the dates of departure and return and any other distinguishing information of each passenger. The right to participate in the trip, is ensured by the payment of the entire value of the package and the related charges 7 full days before departure. Any failure to pay the full value of the trip within the stipulated time, gives the right to our Tourist Office to cancel the reservation and possibly, to demand cancellation fees, in accordance with the cancellation terms provided herein. The contracting party, who represents his family or group, has the obligation to inform all fellow travelers represented by him of the details and conditions of the trip. Participants through a third party have the same obligations as the representative who registered them for the trip, and the tourist office puts all relevant information at their disposal, whenever requested.
The tourist services that will be provided to you, as well as the related costs, they are detailed in the Package Travel Agreement which you should sign once you have read it. In case your physical presence is not possible (reservation by phone, email etc.) you will receive the Agreement by email (in this case you have the right to withdraw from the contract within a period 14 days from the date it was sent to your e-mail, taking into account the related cancellation fees mentioned in Article 11 subsequently).
Our Tourist Office, bears no responsibility for the days and hours of operation of the markets, museums and archaeological sites.

4. TRAVEL PRICES – BURDENS .
The Tariff value of the trips is detailed in our current price list which is updated periodically. Travel prices are calculated on the day the price list is issued, based on the service charges of each trip, the cost of fuel or other energy sources, the applicable fares / remands, any kind of taxes or fees, the exchange rate of foreign currencies in relation to the € (Euro), as well as any other cost factor (e.g. minimum number of participants etc.). Our Tourist Office, after exhausting all possibility of prediction, reserves the right to adjust prices, when the above cost factors change (e.g. fuel price variation). particularly, the price of the trip can change up to 20 days before the start of travel services. The specific price increase will be communicated to the traveler calculated in detail and clearly, comprehensible and distinct manner.
In the event of a significant price increase (i.e. above 8% the value of the trip) for the reasons above, the traveler may cancel the contract without paying a cancellation fee and be refunded the exact amount paid. If the traveler terminates the organized travel contract for the above reason, then the traveler may receive another package of equivalent or higher quality. It is the traveler's responsibility to notify our Tourist Office, in writing any decision within a reasonable period of time, which, however, cannot in any case exceed 2 days from the moment he is notified of the price increase. In the event that the traveler does not respond in writing within the above deadline, our Tourist Office, is obliged to cancel his participation and refund him all the money he has paid without any other obligation, taking into account the related cancellation fees mentioned in Article 11 subsequently.
also, our Tourist Office has the right, for a certain period of time or for a limited number of places, to pre-sell seats at more favorable prices, with special terms of cancellation fees.
Child charges vary on a case-by-case basis from free accommodation offer, without food, in hotels and ships, up to a small discount (for ages 2-10 years, usually, and only when paying two adults in the same room/cabin).
The prices do not include accommodation taxes and municipal taxes which are paid to the hotel unit in question each time by the traveler himself. In Greece the accommodation tax per room/suite and per night is: Hotel 3*: € 1,50, 4*: € 3,00, 5*: € 4,00 .

5. LIABILITIES – TOURIST OFFICE RESPONSIBILITIES
Our Tourist Office, has the obligation to coordinate and execute in the best possible way the trips available to the travelers by fulfilling and implementing the program in question as long as the weather conditions allow it. Nevertheless, having exhausted all possibility of foresight and care, is not responsible for wrong actions and omissions of third parties and their partners, as well as for emergency situations, such as cancellations, delays or changes in routes of the various means of transport ( ships, buses, trains etc.) or in case of exclusion ("embargo") areas due to terrorist acts, strikes and other causes of force majeure. Our Tourist Office , cannot predict or control any delays of scheduled ships due to technical or meteorological or other reasons (and therefore travelers should not plan important personal activities or combine other travel, on departure/arrival days).
It is emphasized that, our Tourist Office is not able to predict or control circumstances that are outside of its sphere of influence and may lead to the cancellation of the trip or damages due to non-performance or faulty performance of the agreed travel services. Characteristic examples of such cases are: strikes, accidents, illnesses, epidemics, pandemics , organic disorders due to local conditions, altitude, climate, due to meals not included in the travel program or due to insufficient hygiene conditions due to external factors, injuries or hardships due to war, coups, terrorist acts, hijackings, earthquakes, weather conditions, fires, epidemics, toxic infections and any other emergency or force majeure situation. In the above cases, our Tourist Office bears no responsibility for the restoration of any damage caused by them, but will exhaust every effort to support and take care of travelers in every way, without this establishing for him responsibility or obligation to cover the relevant extraordinary expenses, which should be covered, as in cases of force majeure, by the travelers themselves.
Reasonable complaints during the trip, they must be reported immediately and on the spot to the attendant (the, in the absence of this, in our Office), and to the provider of the specific service, in writing. If the problem pointed out could not be solved on the spot, after your return from the trip, you should submit any related complaint to our office in writing within a time limit 5 working days, together with any documents or other evidence you have to justify it. After the lapse of 5 days, our Tourist Office has no obligation to respond to any request. If damages occur due to non-execution or defective execution of services of the organized trip, the compensation to the customer is limited to what is defined by the international agreements that bind the country and govern the services in question. particularly: The compensation based on the non-execution or faulty execution of the services of the organized trip, limited to twice the value of the per person price of the trip.
To be able to make an organized trip, the minimum number of is required 20 (twenty) participants (not including children under 10 years old. As long as this number is not filled, our Office reserves the right to cancel the specific trip before the departure of the excursion , it must also inform the customers who had declared participation in it and refund them the money they had paid, without any other obligation.
Our Office offers only the services mentioned in the descriptions of the organized travel programs. Any optional facilities are available for an additional fee, if it finally becomes possible to implement them. Our Office bears absolutely no responsibility for optional benefits, which are mainly carried out by local bodies.
After completing your trip, our Office will issue the statutory tax documents, which will be collected inside the coach.

6. OBLIGATIONS – RESPONSIBILITIES OF TRAVELERS
Because other people usually participate in the organized trip, corresponding social behavior and absolute compliance of the travelers with the travel program and the instructions of the escorts or guides and their timely arrival at the meeting places for the various benefits of the program is necessary (transfers, tours, Excursions, meals etc.). If the traveler's delay or inconsistency results in the loss , excursion, transportation or any other service offered, the traveler will have to rejoin the group at his own risk and expense, with no right to a refund for the missed service or for the entire trip, if it fails to reconnect. Our Office will make every effort to assist, without having or assuming any obligation and responsibility. At the departure points you should be halfway there (1/2) at least one hour before your departure.
In the event that a traveler interrupts his trip by his own decision and leaves the group, he shall not be entitled to any further service or compensation and the responsibility and expense of any movement outside the team shall be his sole responsibility. Similarly, our office bears no responsibility for organized travel services that were not provided to the traveler due to his own negligence or responsibility, due to his illness or sudden accident. In the event that the customer is prevented from participating in the organized trip in which he has reserved a seat, may assign (by informing our Office in writing ) its reservation to another person, which meets the conditions for participation in the specific trip, the latest 10 days before the start of travel services, while for maritime transport the corresponding deadline is 13 working days before departure. The substitute (excipient) and the original participant (assignments) are jointly and severally liable to our Tourist Office, to pay him any outstanding balance of the amount, as well as the possible additional costs of this assignment. It is clarified that any change should be exactly within the same framework and will be acceptable as long as all the service providers in the organized trip (hotels etc.) accept the changes. In the event that a replacement cannot be found (excipient) it is possible to credit the money to a later excursion within the period 3 months. Travelers are responsible for the actions of accompanying children and must supervise them continuously throughout the trip for their safety and behavior.
If the trip is interrupted, due to quarantine or any hospitalization of the participant or for any further preventive public health reason of either the destination country or any intermediate country, The Athanasiadis Travel Company bears absolutely no responsibility towards the traveler for not providing part or all of the agreed services, having no obligation for any kind of compensation or replacement if the service is not provided to you at a later time.

7. HOTELS-ACCOMMODATIONS WITH TRANSPORTATION (SHIPS - BUS - PLANES)
All information, concerning the categorization or classification of the hotel units and accommodations mentioned in the detailed programs of our organized or sold trips, are in accordance with the applicable legislation of each state for the tourist classification of hotel units and accommodations, which may vary from country to country. Most hotel rooms accommodate two beds or a semi-double. The triple rooms are, in essence, double rooms with extra bed. Usually they are not particularly comfortable and the extra bed can be smaller than the regular one or a sofa or a folding one. The rooms are delivered by the hotel usually between 14:00΄-16:00΄ and is at the tenants' disposal until 10.00΄-12.00΄ on the day of departure (depending on the policy of each Hotel). In case you wish to enter the room earlier or leave later, you will have to pay the relevant charge (subject to availability). If, due to unforeseen difficulties, the organizer of the trip is forced to change hotel to another of the same or higher category, the Tourist Office is not obliged to make any other compensation to the travelers.
On coach trips on Greece tours seats are given in order of registration and do not change during the trip, while on trips abroad they change daily. Smoking in the coach is prohibited. The duration of a full-day visit/excursion does not exceed nine (9) total hours, always calculated from departure to return to the hotel.
We recommend that you do not leave exposed and constantly monitor all of your personal items (e.g. mobile phones etc.) in any place (hotel, ship, etc.). Especially in hotels, it is international practice not to take responsibility for money or valuables left in the room. For such cases there are often small safes.

8. PASSPORTS, ENTRY VISAS & SANITARY FORMULATIONS
The passport should be valid for as long after the planned return date as determined by the destination countries. The countries of the Schengen zone also accept the new type, with latin characters, police identification cards.
Our Tourist Office, provides all the necessary information, regarding travel documents and other documents required for Greek citizens, for each trip and destination and their issuance and/or visa, but (even if it provides some assistance in the relevant process) no one is responsible for any non-issuance or non-consideration of these by the competent authorities, to which the traveler must refer, and is also not responsible in case the validity of the visa is shorter than the duration of the trip (that is, the dates do not coincide) or in the event that a couple of travelers have different citizenships, outside Schengen. Especially the nationals of other countries, who are holders of foreign passports, they must inform the tourist office and contact the consular authorities of their country themselves, as well as the countries they will visit, to check whether they need an entry visa or any other documents for the countries they will be passing through or traveling to, as well as for their re-entry into Greece or the country from which they started. Any failure to secure the timely issuance or visa of your travel documents does not justify the cancellation of your participation in the trip without charging cancellation fees. Each traveler is responsible for validity and validity, securing and safekeeping of his travel documents required for his journey. The traveler is responsible for keeping the tickets and in general all travel documents throughout the trip.
The parent accompanying a minor child alone, must bring with him a certified power of attorney in the English language, from the other parent, who does not travel. A similar procedure is followed in a case where the minor is not accompanied by any parent/guardian, in which case a certified authorization from both parents is required. In any case, our office bears no responsibility if the local authorities do not accept their entry into their country .
The traveler is obliged to comply with the national provisions and regulations as well as the instructions of the national authorities. Our Office bears no responsibility in case the traveler faces criminal prosecution, summoned to appear before an authority, arrested by local authorities etc.
Due to the confidentiality of personal medical data – sensitive personal data – the responsibility to contact the relevant health authorities is the sole responsibility of the traveler himself. The traveler is obliged to be informed in time by the local health offices about the health regulations of each country, as well as for the vaccines or medicines that may need to be procured. Customers with health problems should obtain their doctor's approval to travel, by presenting a medical certificate or a declaration that he can travel safely. Our Office bears absolutely no responsibility for illness, injury, loss of life, accident or other health emergency during the trip. In the event of a similar event, our office will try to support the patient as much as possible, however, it is under no obligation to cover any absolutely related exit and change of the travel program, which will continue smoothly.

09. luggage – BAGS
Baggage is transported at the responsibility and care of its owners, regardless of the presence or not of being accompanied by representatives of our Office. In case of damage or loss, the corresponding international conditions apply for each means of transport and for hotels and the responsibility in this case, is limited to what is provided by these conditions. Our Office bears no responsibility for the contents of the luggage.

10. TRAVEL INSURANCE
Our Office has concluded for each trip that it organizes a Civil Professional Liability insurance policy with an Insurance company. The number of the insurance policy and the details of the insurance company are indicated in the package travel contract. The insurance policy deals, including, the event of insolvency of the organizer, covering all travelers regardless of their place of residence, the place of departure or the place of sale of the travel service.

11. OTHER CANCELLATIONS
Cancellations of participation on the part of the traveler are made only in writing to our office and, regardless of the date of the reservation .In particular : a) In case of cancellation of the excursion 13 days before departure will result in a refund 100% b) In case of cancellation of the excursion from 10 – 7 days before departure implies the assignment of his reservation to another person under the conditions mentioned in the Article 6 of the General terms of participation or withhold it 50% of the total amount d) In case of cancellation of the excursion from 6 days until the day of departure, the entire amount is withheld.
Charges are made regardless of the time of registration or whether the corresponding amounts have already been paid by the travelers or not. In the event that one of the two people who have chosen to stay or are staying in a double room cancels their participation, will pay the corresponding cancellation fees. As long as the above cancellation fees are not equal to 100% of the total value of the trip, the person who will eventually travel, he will also pay the difference of his room, as he will necessarily stay in a single bed.

12. SETTLEMENT OF DISPUTES
Our Tourist Office and the traveler undertake to resolve in good faith any dispute that may arise during the execution of the contract of the organized trip. If the amicable resolution of the dispute is not possible, the Courts of Athens are competent.
